  1. Check the front subframe and mounts very carefully while you're at it.
  2. What was said? (I still have no sound on my computer).
  3. 68-72 A bodies really are perfection.
  4. While I was at the Chevy dealer getting my wagon inspected, one of those GMT800 sportsides was towed in. The truck looks to have been sitting for quite a long time (filthy horizontal surfaces), but looks to be in pretty good shape. It also has a plow rig, and is inop at the moment. Methinks it could be an opportunity knocking.
  5. Philly and surroundings are something I can do.
  6. I think we already are...
  7. I can't see a way to make it happen.
  8. Looong trip. Not really in the cards for me these days. Wish I could though.
  9. Youth vs. Experience: a classic matchup.
  10. Or torsion springs, but yeah. Prop rods suck.
  11. ...or a "sportside".
  12. Read more carefully, multiple comparisons can be drawn from the results: Pro-driver/Pro-driver, amatuer/amatuer... Compare each separate finish that way, and guess what? CTS-V wins.
  13. They made great racecars, as did the Monza. And, both looked good. The rest of the criticism is largely true - I see the Vega as a lost opportunity.
  14. Not that I really care... But right back atcha, Z!
  15. Yes, it is the sort of marketing position you can't buy. You have to earn it. Good stuff.
  16. It's not affordability DF, he's just a little crazier than you are! And I...well... sort of understand that.
  17. Clearly, in any "apples to apples" comparison that can be drawn from the results, the CTS-V wins. Driver skill really is not relevant, this is about the cars.
  18. The T/A, while certainly rough, is a much more viable project than that Camaro. And, worth a great deal more when done.
  19. Nope, haven't really tried. In fact, I just renewed the registration and had it inspected today.
  20. I still think the Cobalt name would be a better choice than the inane Cruze moniker. The Cobalt has made serious inroads that previous compact Chevys could only dream of.
  21. *sigh* X2
  22. I am really enjoying it, but circumstances are what they are.
  23. Whew!
