Funny, but I've ignored them completely. I don't even have a mental image to go on. At any rate, I doubt anything smaller than a 3 would ever part me from my money. Not a small car fan.

Just new, that's where the decision is tough. There are plenty of used toys for me to choose from. (I haven't sworn-off used GM stuff)

...for me to start picking out cars to test drive. I usually think about a new car purchase for several years before I make a decision, so don't read anything about timing into this. However, I need to familiarize myself with the "new territory" of Ford and Dodge dealerships. And there is no substitute for actual seat time.

You may not love the Cobalt per se, but you will love the much higher level of "new" than everything else you've had. I'd even be willing to bet that you develop a new level of respect for the car.

The Cobalt really is a no-brainer. It's not like you won't get to choose another car again.
