  1. Yeah, caught that one too. Idiots!
  2. Lutz says 50k/year. I see two problems with that: Holden's production capacity and the UAW. What does he know that we don't which would make 50K possible?
  3. Man, that would tick me off. Has to be a way.
  4. I'd guess that the ECM needs to be "tricked" into thinking the fuel pump relay is there. I'm also wondering if 11PSI is enough and/or the toy pump is not compatible somehow (fuel volume, maybe).
  5. That would be par.
  6. Typical.
  7. Time to watch Nightline and see how badly they screw it up this time.
  8. Current score: 123 to 60 with the good guys winning
  9. Cool. Thanks for posting this. I wonder if it is the same as what went on the air. I won't be able to tell as my computer has no sound at the moment.
  10. I hate to sound like Captain Obvious, but did they replace the fuel filter yet? It would be my first suspect.
  11. good deal.
  12. It should. Try going to their main page and using the link (upper right hand side of page).
  13. I wish there were some way to get a copy of that ABC piece up on Utube so everyone could see just how bad it really was.
  14. Thanks for following through on their messageboard, NOS. I knew I could count on you.
  15. WTF? They changed it in the middle of the poll?
  16. Excellent! Now let's get the word out to other car-related websites. I have already posted links on: camaroz28.com,chirpthird.com, and ls1tech.com
  17. I could use some back-up on their messageboard too. It's a crappy site, and they make you register (which isn't as quick and easy as it should be) but please do it anyway.: http://forums.go.com/abcnews/WNT/forum?start=0&forumID=9
  18. Everyone check this out : http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...mp;#entry237446 Then do the right thing and spread the word!
  19. Everybody: take this poll at ABC, let'em know what you think: http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/BeSeenBeH...opup?id=2778690 and spread the word.
  20. This is what I posted on ABC's message board Under the title " Dean Reynolds should be ashamed": The shoddy bit of fluff he just reported on World News was the most inaccurate, slanted bit of reporting I've seen lately. Though it may be fashionable to slant all reports against the Detroit automakers, reporters should at least endeavour to be accurate. In this report on the "Detroit Auto Show" (more properly the North American International Auto Show), Mr Reynolds spouted off some entirely inaccurate "facts" concerning several of the models mentioned. The Chevrolet Camaro is approved for production in 2008 as a 2009 model. No ifs about it as indicvated in the piece. The Chevrolet Volt show car could be produced by 2010-2012 according to GM, not the "ten years" reported in the piece. The Chrysler minivans shown are new editions of segment sales leaders that have never been bested in sales, yet the slant of the pice indicates that Chrysler execs are "pleading" for sales. The Ford Interceptor is a thinly disguised look at Ford's plans for a new RWD sedan, not some pie-in-the-sky dream car. Do your homework Dean, or at least have someone check your facts. The negative slant against the domestic automakers in this piece is undeserved and behind the times. Look a little deeper and you will find that the Big 3 have more than simply caught up to the imports, in many segments they are class-leaders. Check it for yourself.
  21. I just might do that. Anyone else see this fluffy piece of shoddy reporting?
  22. I just watched a piece on ABC news so full of inaccuracies and negative slant against the automakers(domestic only,of course) that it nearly made me physically ill. Damn! They could, at least, be accurate in their reporting. Rotten bastards!
  23. Well I was going to comment on a few things I don't like about the interior, but it outclasses the competition by such a huge margin that I won't even bother. And I don't like the car.
