  1. Very cool batch of highway cruisers. BTW: I seem to remember that the push-button trans were vacuum operated, not positive though.
  2. Interesting responses so far. I have quite a few dealbreakers in mind, the first of which is FWD - I will never buy a new FWD car: I just can't tolerate them.
  3. pic failure=joke failure
  4. Actually the previous owner eviscerated it: I just put it into suspended animation until a cure could be found. :AH-HA_wink:
  5. What aspect or aspects of any new car would instantly disqualify it from your further consideration? What can you simply not tolerate in a new car?
  6. I've posted a link to a new slideshow in the marketplace. http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...?showtopic=7616
  7. When the G-bodies died so did most of my interest in GM products. What followed were some very dark days with only a few bright spots for way too long. The way I see it, GM still has some work to do on that comeback trail. Other than F-bodies,Vette,ImpalaSS, and trucks, GM became a wasteland of forgetable FWD blandness - truly the bad old days. Abandoning the g-bodies was probably the single worst decision GM has ever made.
  8. It looked like this in a previous life.
  9. I was thinking Tokyo... or maybe LA
  10. Sad but true, things really fell apart for me in 2006 so it's all for sale.
  11. It takes so f-ing long on dial-up that I'm done trying for now. Couldn't make Photobucket work either.
  12. No mention of stars either.
  13. I've wasted about 8 hours of my life trying to create a slideshow only to have the damn thing fail and disappear after each round of hours of work. WTF is wrong with that site?
  14. Thanks,BV! A black one would fit right in between the Goat and the T/A Hawk :AH-HA_wink:
  15. Nah, I already had one with that grille :AH-HA_wink: I owned it longer than any other vehicle ever.
  16. The pickup is playing a support role (and the GTO is hiding the muddy paw prints on the truck's passenger door)
  17. Don't forget the 88-91 Suburbans. :AH-HA_wink:
  18. But mine is an '88 :AH-HA_wink:
  19. And the front plate will read: "MOTHERTRUCK"
  20. Wow! What an inexpensive, yet tasteful solution! Why didn't I think of it?
  21. :rotflmao: X2 Actually the truck is pretty cool. The chassis has been sandblasted and painted, the engine is a brand new Goodwrench 4-bolt main EFI 350, the wheels are new American Racing alloys, it has a TH400 trans, and I have a boatload of new GM parts just waiting to go on it. The truck itself has something like 82k on it.
  22. :rotflmao:
  23. Where do they come from?
  24. Long-term project
