  1. If it wasn't Christmas...
  2. I remember the car being two-tone,XP. I might have a pic somewhere - I'll check for it.
  3. Thanks GM1, maybe I should get that old Dodge fired up and decorated for a cruise around the Main Line before the rain comes tomorrow.
  4. Happy Birthday to all the Christmas babies. 68: There is one of those Brewsters around here, but it is a 4 place car. I've seen it at a few shows. Really different looking beast.
  5. Hate the tails and the headlights. But, that's no surprise as I rarely find any new vehicles without similar designs these days. I really wish this huge, chrome, and clear trend in design would die already. It doesn't matter what model or brand, this design trend looks like $h! on everything. GRRR! It is the worst aspect of contemporary vehicle design bar none. The Altezza name be cursed for all time.
  6. Hmm, seems like apples and oranges to me.
  7. Aren't the Outlook and Acadia considered to be crossovers rather than SUVs?
  8. How many people actually use a third row seat anyway? Other than auto reviewers do that many people really care? In the pre- fold flat era, most third row seats I knew about permanently occupied a dark, neglected corner of the owner's garage. Even in old 60s and 70s wagons with a third seat option that I run across today, the third seat is usually in pristine, unused condition. I'm one that never understood the popularity of the Tahoe vs. the Suburban anyway, the size difference is marginal. I would always opt for the Sub if I were in that market, they are surprisingly agile for their size.
  9. Not on the list and not strictly an SUV, but the Avalanche gets my vote for #1. They really got this version right. An easy second would be the Tahoe/Suburban, again because they are just right. The Escalade is too overblown and the Yukon got hit in the face with the ugly stick. #3? Don't know yet. Edit: I am strongly leaning toward the Nitro for #3, the look works.
  10. Not good, not good at all. Took some cojones to post about it though, I'm trying hard not to crucify you for this. :AH-HA_wink: You should do several fluid and filter changes in rapid succession for both the trans and the engine. Good luck.
  11. Don't forget the absurd Prius. The pretender Ridgeline. The suicidal Smart The obese Avalon The entire Scion brand and the ugly little Element
  12. Seems we lost some posts in this thread,Huh?
  13. A great job once again,Z. Thanks for all you do.
  14. That would be one hell of a conversation! :AH-HA_wink:
  15. *bump*
  16. *Yawn* First some coffee and breakfast, then I'll start this afternoon.
  17. I'm going to sleep on it and start tomorrow.
  18. Maybe we could work a trade...
  19. I still have a key to the Spacetruck. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. Not much chance that I'll forget 2006, it has been a tough year. Thanks to everyone here for support and laughs (I had use for both). And a special thanks to the crew of The Underground - it gives me purpose when I wonder what my purpose is. I certainly enjoyed all of the trivia questions, spy shots, music contests/discussions, and debates of all sorts. C&G has become part and parcel of who I am because of all the folks here, let's keep it up in 2007.
  21. Hmm, food for thought.
  22. I have to comment on your sig, that Malibu has that hard to get, "just-right" look every hot rodder hopes for. Really sweet! Any backstory on the car?
  23. As if we couldn't see this one coming. Freakin gadget-pansies.
  24. The sketch looks promising, I just hope it wasn't done by the same designers as this abomination: http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...showtopic=13803
