  1. Please Subaru...please don't make me buy a Scion.
  2. I thought it looked more South Beach Miami to me.
  3. that is HOT. If only I were rich.
  4. oh, lol, sorry. I misunderstood, mea culpa.
  5. definitely a Maverick. if you look closely, it says FORD across the rear valence. The Comet was a Mercury; and if I remember correctly, they had quite a schnoz.
  6. Somehow, I think it should be called GSX though for some reason. Probably just because of the donor car's name.
  7. I think you're right. I think it's going to be more like how they built the 4th-gen Camaro SS/WS6 Firebirds for GM.
  8. I'll start today off with the first Ferrari 599 I've ever seen (and it only took until the car was almost done with its life cycle)
  9. And don't forget the Evo. like it or hate it, it's a legend in it's own right. and it is a purpose-built racing homologation (or was for a time anyway).
  10. Ok that has got to be the most badassed Ferrari ever. I can't wait for MOAR pics. 740 horses. che pazzo.
  11. lol. probably more hideous actually.
  12. Very true, it was an attractive car but it was more look than cook, IMO. A far cry from what the TA22 Celica GT I posted was in its heyday (I.e. a Nissan GT-R/Mazda RX3 competitor)
  13. everything will turn out okay, i'm sure. You're a trooper. that being said firing a guy who's still recovering from heart surgery because he "can't keep up" sounds kind of sketchy to me.
  14. sounds like the suspension is bottoming out, to me.
  15. Honda: Toyota: Volkswagen: other than that Scirrocco R, you'd be hard-pressed to find me something from the VW brand that I like. (Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini and Bugatti are a different story altogether. )
  16. i believe this picture is rather appropos here:
  17. I wouldn;t be surprised if it was aftermarket. car mascots, much like flags, are always supposed to be charging.
  18. I think i can sort of make out that the fender vents are like that on the original SR's. I like the overall shape, but it's too hard to tell. But Chrysler has done this exact same thing before, given die-cast companies their specs and blue prints for them to have miniatures ready for release not long after the real thing comes out. In fact, this isn't a rare occurence anymore. A lot of companies pre-release specs and blueprints to model companies, Hot Wheels, and even video game developers for their newest creations to be immortalized.
  19. agreed
  20. Why not! I'd honetly love to read a writeup where you try and score a skidpad rating on it.
  21. I'd love to see a new barracuda, about the flavor of the '69 (my favorite), but like fullmoon, I don't want to see them discontinue the Challenger. Maybe if the kept the Challenger as a Fullsize coupe as it is now, and made the Barracuda as the smaller, lighter ponycar.
