  1. Cool, so you sat in it? How were the materials?
  2. Well 3 are Jeeps according to the article, so that means there are 7 more between Chrysler and Dodge. How stupid is Edmunds? The Aspen is based on the Durango, not a car  The other 7 would be (by my best guess): Aspen, Nitro, Sebring, Stratus, Caliber, Sprinter (van), and then maybe the 300 convert (if they decide to do it) or if there is really a Chrysler version of the Nitro, then that.
  3. I thought the roofline in general looked a lot like the Altima too. I see where you're coming from with the G35 on the sides but the crease appears to be sharper, sort of like on Cadillacs.
  4. I go back on the 25th :( Let's just say I'm not looking forward to it, though it will be fun to see everyone again, including some teachers.
  5. That's some good stuff. Just so everyone knows, if you think a pic is the TSX, its the Accord (European Market). I got quite a few of those with only one or two squares.
  6. I think that everything will be lost, unless Walt can do something about it.
  7. I didn't do it when I took the test and they didn't care. Of course the lady I took the test didn't really seem to care, she just sat there and said "turn here," "park here," and didn't actually pay much attention to what I was doing.
  8. a. A version of the Peugeot 402 b. Ford Skyliner (1957)
  9. I saw another B9 tonight, my third one. The other day I saw a VUE in a sort of greenish color... it actually looked pretty good.
  10. Other than RWD, I do have one other suggestion: GM should be using the DOHC HF V6 engines in basically all cars. I realize that won't happen, but some brands should not have any OHV V6s. Cadillac obviously doesn't have any, and it should stay that way; Buick shouldn't have any OHV V6s, and neither should Saturn. I suppose they're okay in Chevy's and low-end Pontiacs, but high-end Pontiacs (GTP or GXP) should have DOHC engines, IMO. Having the 3800 in the LaCrosse and Lucerne is unacceptable, IMO. Having the 3500 in the Rendezvous is unacceptable, as is the 3500 and 3900 in the Terraza. Buick should position itself as an upscale brand (as it is trying to do) and therefore should use upscale engines. I also don't think the 3500 in the Aura is acceptable. The 3900 in the G6 GTP is acceptable, but I still would rather have it be the 3.6L HF V6.
  11. Wow that interior is really impressive for a Hyundai. It does look like a CLS and reminds me of BMWs design too somewhat.
  12. BlkHhr104: To post a picture you need to first upload it to a hosting site. www.imageshack.us is a good one. Then, once you have the image uploaded, copy the url and paste it between So it should look like this: [img] url here [ /img] but without the spaces. The front seat could be folded down in that pic just to show that it can be folded down, and also maybe to show the center stack which would otherwise be blocked by the seat.
  13. The Impala's interior is certainly an improvement, and I wouldn't say it's terrible, just average. I actually quite like the interior, it'd just be better if the materials were a notch above where they are now. I'm not asking for Avalon-grade materials, that's what the Lucerne is for, I just want something a notch above what's currently offered and a notch above the 500 (which is about the same as the Impala in terms of materials).
  14. I've seen the "Honda Clearance" commercials on TV for a while now. So much for Honda not offering rebates.

There's the pic I saw before (the one mustang84 posted). I count six different colors right in front of the driver, and the steering wheel looks like it came from the Cavalier. The gearshift if fugly too, and I still don't understand why the only traditional guage is the RPM... it would make more sense to put that in the readout or whatever above the guage cluster and make the speedo the lone traditional guage.
  16. Yes, the State Fair of Texas begins Sept. 30th. I'm guessing they'll debut the Tahoe at the first day of the fair so that it can be on display for the whole fair, but I'm not sure if it is debuting on the 30th.
  17. A few RWD cars are a must. GM doesn't need to convert their whole car line to RWD, but I think each brand needs at least 1 RWD car. I read in an article that customers want the top model to be RWD because luxury makes use RWD. IMO, here's what each brand needs: Chevy needs 3 RWD cars (other than Corvette): Camaro, "Bel Air", Nomad (Kappa) Pontiac needs 3: GTO, Grand Prix/G8, Solstice Buick needs 2: Velite coupe/convert and sedan version Saturn needs 1: Sky Cadillac should have all models be RWD, unless they have AWD standard From what I've read from owners, the CTS handles fine in the snow. I think RWD cars can handle well in the snow, maybe the LX ones don't handle so well because a large amount of them have the Hemi.
  18. I think the new standard tests the engines with a power steering pump attached (which robs power) and also they aren't allowed to breath as freely as in the past (to simulate how much air they get under the hood). I'm not so sure that the Japanese so much overstated HP as much as the American companies underrated it. I'm guessing that if you took off the power steering pump and let the engine breath more freely that the Asians would make similar power to what they had claimed and the Americans would make somewhat more power than claimed.
  19. Well that sucks. Maybe if you prove to your parents how you will be able to pay off the loan without them having to pay a single penny, then they'd cosign for you?
  20. Sure. As long as you're not totally copying it I think that'd be fine.
  21. If you can't decide, you can do more than one entry if you want, although if you take a long time on your entries like gt1750 you might not have time to do two.
  22. No we're going to have more than 4 mods, we just haven't modded the other mods yet.
  23. Thanks for posting the pics. The Solstice is really sad looking with the front license plate braket... I was afraid of that.
  24. That looks pretty good actually. I wonder if Chevy will do any special edition HHR's.

    ZO6!

Hopefully someone is able to get it up to 200 MPH, that'd be sweet. If you look at this picture (the one I used for my sig) you can see the license plate says 505 198 which I assume means 505HP + 198 MPH:
