08 CTS Pricing
Welcome! I would expect the 08 CTS to be probably $1500 more than a similarly equipped 07 CTS, but pricing has not been announced and that's just speculation on my part based on all of the improvements they've made.

TCC: Jeep Patriot Review
I'm pretty sure the bottom one is the Caliber, but I can't tell between the other too. Man, is Chrysler cheap or what?

2000 Cadillac Catera for sale
There are GTO to Monaro conversions running around, too.

Volkswagen AG to acquire 51% stake in Proton
The only good I saw in acquiring Proton was the manufacturing plants that would have given GM another low-cost place to manufacture cars. I also think it would have been easy to "remake" the Proton lineup by just re-badging Daewoos. Lotus would have been cool to have, but at the end of the day, does anyone really care?

that f*cking curse
I would keep a look out for a red car with some tan paint on it in your parking lot. They can probably take a sample of the paint on each car to confirm what car it was if you figure it out.

AUTOWEEK AURA VS CAMRY
Saturn should advertise the hell out of this. If they don't it's a lost opportunity to steal some sales.

Ram drift
Nah, GTOs are drift kings :AH-HA_wink: . You should check out the Top Gear video of them drifting a Monaro. That Ram looked dumb first of all because it's a huge ass truck drifting and second of all because there was no tires smoke, I'm guessing the ground was pretty wet or something.

Interesting, what were the other winners? Did the SRX repeat again?

2008 Cadillac CTS: Image Gallery
See, I think Cadillac has found the perfect medium. The people who want the ride like a BMW are going to default to BMW if they can afford it, anyways. Therefore, Cadillac would have a very small target audience if the ride was as firm as BMW, because most buyers that want that ride would just buy the BMW.

TEMPTATION!!!
Wow, still no bids. I guess that's not that surprising considering it's a heavily modified vehicle that you'd have a hard time getting repaired if something happened, but at the same time it's very unique and there are plenty of El Camino lovers out there.

I drove an Accord... shifts were not smooth.

Fullsize P/U Comparison: Toyota vs. Chevy vs. Nissan
Even so, you can't argue that there are probably 1000 times as many parts for the Silverado's engine than there are for the Tundra's for those wishing to upgrade performance.

Spied: Dodge JC49
The interior looks interesting. If the interior quality is simply the same as the Pacifica's then Chrysler might as well just cancel it now and save as much money as they can. The interior needs to be leaps and bounds better than the Pacifica's if they hope to have a chance against the Lambdas.

GM May Sell Allison Transmission
If GM owns the company then they get them at the company's cost. If GM doesn't own the company then the company isn't going to give GM the transmissions without making some money themselves, which would make it cost more for GM to buy/use the transmission. It wouldn't cost more to produce them, it would just cost GM more to use them.

GM May Sell Allison Transmission
It's not core to the company because it's simply a transmission. It probably makes more sense to sell Allison and then buy transmissions from them than to hold on to them. Situation 1: Say GM keeps Allison, and each transmission costs GM $800 to produce. GM makes said transmission a $1k option, a profit of $200. GM makes $200 x #of trucks sold per year. Situation 2: GM sells Allison for $200 million (just a guess). GM buys the same transmissions from Allison for $900, and GM still makes said transmission a $1k option (no extra cost for consumer). This means that GM would lose $100/truck by selling Allison; however, GM would be better off selling Allison and then buying transmissions from them until GM has to buy transmission #1 million. It's going to take a LONG time for GM to sell 1 million trucks with the Duramax. and Allison.

Hold on, new Impala fans
They probably decided it was too early to show a 2010 model. It doesn't start production for 2 1/2 years.

AUDI R8 gallery
I think the part that's not painted the same color as the rest looks dumb on most colors. Other than that it looks cool, but there are better choices available.

TEMPTATION!!!
You should be able to get close to that by selling your GTO, I would think. Perhaps not if the bidding goes up, but it wouldn't be too much of a loss of money if you sold the GTO for this I wouldn't think.

Does anybody want a 2005 Deville?
Well, in that case I'd figure $25k tops. I did a KBB on it and they said $24xxx for private party.

Does anybody want a 2005 Deville?
Is it a DHS or regular Deville? If DHS then about $27-29k, if a regular Deville, then about $5k less.

TEMPTATION!!!
I saw that on LS1GTO. It's very cool. I would prefer the Ute's nose, but it doesn't look bad with the GTO's.

Pricing: 2007 Toyota Tundra
I think the pricing is slightly more expensive than a comparable Silverado, but since you can't build a Tundra on the Toyota website yet, I can't say for sure. I would have expected it to be significantly less than a comparable Silverado considering Toyota is the one playing catch-up in this segment.
