  1. I've been seeing a lot of people in their 40's and 50's driving the 2007 Camry's on the road.
  2. I honestly didn't realize you could beat up a car like that and it would still hold it's wheel covers! :AH-HA_wink:
  3. dart
  4. I don't buy it. He was "95% sure it was a new one"? C'mon... it's either new or it isn't. And how old could it be? This is the first 6-speed auto to go into FWD Toyota. I'd go with new. But still, something doesn't add up.
  5. I've heard 2 possible reasons for the 227hp version of the 3.9L in the convertible:1) Something to do with the makeup of exhaust had to be different for the convertible 2) Something to do with having the torque be available at lower rpms because the convertible is heavier than the coupe or sedan.
  6. CX or CXL? Any pics?
  7. Agreed. Opel has some nice-looking products.
  8. Yes... I wish the Infiniti website had better images of their interiors.
  9. No GM division needs to go... Pontiac just needs better product. I'd have to say, the Solstice is the FIRST Pontiac car in years that I actually thought was perfect for the division.
  10. Yeah, now, why is it GM doesn't have anything like that anymore? You know, cool little toys that were VERY innovative for their time?
  11. smoke
  12. I've been seeing a few Lucernes on the road lately, which is nice. They have a nice presence. Unfortunately... I've already seen a LOT of 2007 Camry's.
  13. Don't forget, there will be one more engine/code available... the 270hp version of the 3.9L
  14. What would make you say the 3900 is going to disappear? Have you heard something to that effect?
  15. You're kidding me right? First of all, base price is going to start around that... and go up to about $30,000. Secondly, I believe it's been very well established that the midsize sedan market is cut-throat. So pardon me for paying attention to details that others will pick on.Oh, and it's attitudes like that, that have people put out mediocre cars. Kinda like the LaCrosse--well, it's heaven compared to the Century and Regal it replaces.... but then what happened? People weren't that impressed.

  17. Yup... from the Pontiac website: Engine & Power * 3.5L 3500 V6 with 201 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque * 3.9L 3900 V6 SFI with 227 hp and 235 lb-ft of torque
  18. The convertible only gets 227hp with the 3.9 and 4A right now. It was a complaint many members made (including myself), when it debuted a few months ago.
  19. Aura isn't offered with the 4-cylinder. At least not at the start. It's hard to avoid lower-level Pontiacs... people buy them. Not to mention, Pontiac isn't exactly screaming excitement, nor does it hold resale value well--get rid of the low-level models, and you'll lose a lot of customers, not gain.
  20. Is it me, or does the gap on the lower center stack below the HVAC controls seem large?
  21. finished
  22. bargain
  23. employee
  24. Happy Birthday!!
