  2. Yes, working out can be fun... especially if you workout with a friend. It took me a while to make working out not so much a chore. However, it involved my iPod and some good music, and it won't be back from Apple for another week! Arg!And if that doesn't work for you, find a gym with great eye-candy

  5. Would TOTALLY buy this if it was available in a 4-cylinder configuration (granted, I am all about a 6, but if the 4 has ample power, is refined in noise and vibration, I'd completely consider this). That is a nice chop. The front would do well for a refreshed LaCrosse.
  6. Nah, from what I understand, no improvements are needed, Chas is a great guy in every way. Although... I could use a new paint job for the body, in the form of a gift certificate to some store to buy new clothes. Oh, and the actual Buick needs a paint job desperately LOL
  7. I'd probably just change the font, the make the "dials" smaller, and make the speedometer just a little larger.
  8. Okay, now I'm not the best photoshopist by far--in fact, I consider myself still in the early stages of Novice. With just a little color, the LaCrosse gauges come to life, and with a red/white/blue color scheme, they further present American Pride.
  9. New stick shift. :AH-HA_wink:
  10. Yup, that's part of it.
  11. Although I'm not exactly a huge fan of the LaCrosse guages--I don't really feel they're horrible. They are definitely not plain--they have a touch of class, but definitely not exciting. Illuminate them with LEDs--that'll help--just replace the bulbs behind it and the colors themselves will come to life. Maybe change the font.
  12. Yeah, I was told I was going to feel like I was on speed... that I was going to have energy levels I couldn't imagine. And then when I question myself, the doctor told me that I should answer myself with, "Yes, this is essentially normal."When they calibrated the mask for me on the last sleep study, I slept for 3 hours... I woke up, and then I got the technician's attention and said, "What time is it? How long have I been asleep?" I honestly expected him to say 8 hours. I felt like I had the equivalent energy of a full night of sleep. Granted, the mask was uncomfortable for me.
  13. LOL, that's what I got! I had a rate of 88.5 wakeups per hour... in less than a 4 hour period, I woke up 368 times, and only 21 of them were natural (your body naturally wakes up during it's sleep). At my worst, my oxygen dropped 86%.So, what's funny is, when I got up after the first sleep study, I said to the guy, "I don't think this was a good study--I didn't fall into a deep sleep." And he said, "Let's say you're lucky--if this is normal for you, I'm surprised you're not dead." Again, now I'm just waiting for the stupid insurance company to pay the CPAP company to get me a machine.
  14. I'm currently awaiting mine... it's to be calibrated at 11cm titration. Was told I'll be a new man sleeping on one of those. I don't have severe sleep apnea... the dr called it, well, "profound" lol
  15. That is one thing I like about Nissan... they're not in your face and throwing down other companies.
  16. Well, now, is there a chance these changes are only for Canada? I mean, I would say no, but there are more color changes listed on your list--and the names are different... CA gets "Imperial Blue Metallic" and the US gets "Midnight Blue Metallic". I'm going to go out on a limb and say, it's the same damn color.
  17. Oooh... I'm interested to see these interior changes... the wood although good, could have been better (as we saw in the Lucerne). Making the faux wood more attractive would warm up the interior (I already consider it a warm, inviting interior), even more. New instrument graphics and pointer color? I can only hope that doesn't mean that it's just getting Lucerne gauges (italicized font and a red pointer)... but maybe LED gauges a la Enclave? New steering wheel? Maybe the Enclave wheel? I'd like that better as I find it sportier than the current wheel. I don't know anything about the final drive ratio, so I'm not sure what that means.
  18. Hmmm... if you were a REAL GM fan, you'd try and sabotoge it! LOL
  19. I can hear the press now... "The only reason Toyota even received this mild recall is because the transmission was built by Americans... who formerly worked for a GM plant nearby that was shut down. GM is currently heading towards bankruptcy for its bland products and ancient 4-speed autos with OHV style engines. GM is looking to revive it's company with new product, but their product continues to fail to live up to the quality of its Japanese rivals. GM is doomed. GM sucks. GM's 6-speed auto will surely flounder more."
  20. Again, I can't believe it would take THAT MUCH time or money to work on the gauges. Hey, even if they threw LEDs behind their current designs, the gauges would be brighter and clearer. Take the LaCrosse gauges for example: If Buick stuck ice white LEDs behind their current cluster, the greenish-blue colors would be brighter, bolder. The needles, would be bright, crisp, bright white, not a dull off-white. It would stand out more. And that'd take almost no effort on GMs part.
  21. I hardly think it's an expensive cost on a car to put some creative LED lighting. Corolla's, Civics, etc., have them. Seriously? Spending the money on soft touch plastics? That sounds much more expensive. Especially when you consider the volume of plastic in your average interior.
  22. I'd love maroon to come back. Dark blue and maroon. That'd be sweet. I love my dark blue interior (although outdated), and my dad's maroon interior (same car, still outdated)--both give a very warm look to the interior.
  23. Yup, with available 425hp. Uffa!Anyway, I'd like to see some nice interior changes for the LaCrosse Super... say, two-tone leather seating, contrasting piping, suede inserts, maybe some sort of wood treatment to the dash (alternate type of wood, color, but dear God, not gray plood please), satin-nickle/aluminum finish on center stack and accents on steering wheel and door controls, heated/cooled seats, harmon/kardon audio, LED sport gauges (and they should do that thing my friend's pontiac used to do, when you start the car, all the gauges fly to one side, then back to their correct positions). For the exterior, to start, new grille (which we know it'll have), HID headlights, LED taillamps, 19-20" wheels, larger exhausts, portholes, turn signal indicators on the sideview mirrors, oh, and a horn like my Buick has.... LOUD.
  24. OMG, we need to take out a billboard that states his comment about choosing a CXS over the 300 or Avalon (I'm excluding the DTS, because I don't want to downplay another GM car).
  25. Amen to real wood and Nav as an option!
