  1. Ditto...... the new interiors alone are HUGE improvements. The power boosts, the cleaner looks inside and out, the added features... MUCH more improved vehicle over its predecessor.
  2. When are we going to hear of the "other changes"? I was surprised when I looked on the Pontiac website, to see they had an image of the Torrent with a purple interior. I didn't know they had interiors like that. The Equinox is an awesome little SUV, and I think it has the potential to be a powerful player in the market with some changes. Now with the Rav4 stepping up the game, the Nox/Torrent are going to have to follow suit to not be totally overlooked. I realize they are still better than the CRV, but Toyota should be a target as well.
  3. I'm glad to hear she's okay. That must have been so frightening for her! So, when is it not considered insensitive to discuss replacements? :AH-HA_wink:
  4. one
  5. The others get a 5-speed auto too....The headlights are horrendous. The interior I like.

  7. The car is incredibly light already. Try flying over bumps in that thing going 60... it just doesn't feel right.
  8. Well, GM needs a midsize hybrid sedan as soon as they can get it out.
  9. I guess people are realizing the Accord Hybrid is fairly useless. It's a minimal power increase with a minimal fuel economy increase for a large increase in price.
  10. Love it... just love it. Although Saturn will never replace my beloved Oldsmobile, it may just help warm a spot of my heart that has been dark for years

  13. That's awesome! Who would have thought a little spoiler shape change would give a whole 1 mpg added to real world fuel economy! I'm glad the interior is getting a face-lift... it was nice, but cheap looking. I'd like to see the 3.5L in there standard. Are the Equinox/Torrent the only vehicles still using the 3.4L?
  14. No, I don't work as far as Brooklyn, although I'm VERY close to the entrance of the Belt (I'm 2 exits away from the Belt on the Southern State Parkway).... in late February, I moved to Syosset. The commute is much shorter... although the 15 year old car is getting worse by the day. Yesterday I heard a "new" sound... a sound that when I was a young boy, and I heard it on a car driving by, I said, "Wow, that car's gonna go." I can't even describe it... kinda like if you had metal rattling constantly against more metal. Loud. Obtrusive. Oh well.
  15. Wow. This would be my new car.
  16. Restraint.
  17. All I know is, I can't afford a more fuel-efficient car right now. I drive at decent speeds... I think the fastest I go anymore (and it's rare), is 75. I use regular unleaded, at a self-serve station. I pay $2.93/gallon. I have looked for cheaper, but the cheapest I could find is $2.88/gallon. Who wants to buy me a more fuel efficient car? I'm getting about 22mpg highway

  19. It's growing on me... need to see more pics though. They'll probably have that cool color they have on the Sentra interior--that fire/terra cotta color leather.
  20. Wow, this is how they plan to boost sales for the car? Interior isn't that impressive.
  21. That interior just really doesn't scream luxury to me. It's nicer than your average midsize sedan, but it's not exciting nor luxurious.
  22. Wow, tell me that's NOT the interior. That is SO boring and plain.
  23. There's no certainty that the other 3.5Ls will receive the hp increase. After all, the 3.5L in the Impala has 10hp more than the Malibu and G6.
  24. Yes, I've NEVER been a fan of any spoked wheels that go above like 6 or 7. My ideal is 5-6 spokes in a wheel.
