  1. Why so much longer service lives on CNG in an otherwise identical engine? BTW, I may turn this whole thread into an article from the information you all have provided.
  2. Well what is the mpg penalty? I ask because it looks like the assumptions above use the gasoline mpgs...
  3. Because it is a minor chance of possible injustice in face of the actual occurring injustice we have on going today.
  4. Do you get the same mpg on CNG as you would on gasoline?
  5. SUVs are heavier than cars and do more damage to the road than lighter cars.... yay for vicious circle!
  6. I'm taking mine on two 500 mile round trips.
  7. So no more moving down market for Porsche?
  8. That's the nascar version....
  9. look at the front overhang on that thing.... it's enough to make a late model Chrysler K-Car blush! and also... look at how high the doors are off the ground.
  10. So... just no imagination at all on the name then? Not even Commodore?

  13. Yes, he did a review of the 2012 Chevy Cruze LTZ in March.
  14. Gosh, it's an inline 6 but the A/C compressor looks like it is a V2.
  15. hey now... be nice.
  16. The G8 proved nothing about V6 import cars. If you were shopping for a 2008 G8 and could only afford a V6, you were better off looking at a 2007 Cadillac CTS. Same engine, lighter weight by 300lbs, more upscale badge (if you cared), and still great handling. Interiors were just about a wash either way. And somehow, GM managed to screw with the excellent 5-speed automatic so that it performed great in the CTS (as it always had) and yet was a sore spot in the G8. Another kicker for V6 buyers was that the CTS 3.6L V6 could be had with a 6-speed manual transmission while Pontiac's "sport sedan" V6 could only come with the 5-speed auto. Thus, if you really wanted a G8, you bought the V8 version. If you just wanted a RWD car with great handling, but could only afford a V6 or wanted a manual, you bought a CTS.
  17. Well, part of this news that wasn't in the article is that Tesla has been getting lots of private investment.
  18. I believe it has gone back, but there is another one on its way to my place on thursday.
  19. uh, I don't think that link is proof of anything.
  20. I haven't driven one since the first generation... but I didn't see the hubbub compared to my CTS.
  21. Cheers! A way to drive a luxury car without making the shareholders anxious!
  22. I don't believe the market loves Hyundai styling. I believe it loves the perceived value package.
