  1. Chrysler 300? Dodge Charger? Hyundai Azera? Even the Honda Accord. It's grown so much that when ordered without a sunroof, it is technically a full sized car based on volume. I think what has changed are the definitions of "full size". The Fusion is a mid-size car, yet it has the same exterior dimensions as the original Taurus... which is considered full size by today's standards.
  2. The Turbo V6 will be here very shortly.
  3. Well, I'm currently editing my first review with a vehicle that I was disappointed in.. Do want to say which one it is? I'm thinking it is the same vehicle you're working on.
  4. I have to write my first scathing review of a new vehicle. I'm not sure I want to.
  5. It's not really going to be a Mini much longer...
  6. This was one of the most obvious, needs to be produced Concepts, yet at the same time the most ignored at the show.
  7. People have to keep working for their income... imagine that....
  8. June 25, 2011 is the date it originally sold. Check out the CarFax report, it has a fishy beginning (sold new at Criswell Honda? Unless that's a combo Chevy/Honda dealer): http://www.carfax.co...1MK5E29BL527101 It's Criswell Chevrolet Honda Nissan Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Maserati Fiat Isuzu GEM Look at this entry: 04/02/2012 13,295 Auto Auction Eastern Region Listed as a manufacturer vehicle Press car I wonder.
  9. what is the date of the original sale? could have gotten in before the crackdown.
  10. ugh at the wheels.... but otherwise thumbs up. The 4.9 is no speed demon, but they'll run for just about ever if you take care of it... and smooth too.
  11. I think it really is used though. No reason they can't sell a used cop car.
  12. Among the other coupes in the class of course...
  13. You mean the ones that are no longer made? The Cobalt and HHR?
  14. I don't think they should bother for now. Only BMW has a model in that class that is RWD. Let Buick take on the A1 and A3, and whatever MB front drivers come over.
  15. The ATS is the next class size up from the 1-series. It isn't a direct comparison.
  16. Well... yes it's news. I can't imagine a GS coupe being very interesting though.
  17. The newest Haldex AWD can be whatever bias you want it to be. Left rear tire biased? Just program the computer for it.
  18. Both the 3400 and 3900 are smoother engines than the 3.6 when driven in a normal fashion despite what the buff rags will tell you about pushrods and the like. It is only when you crest 5,500 rpm or so does the DOHC make any difference on smoothness.
  19. Fiat 500 Abarth Mini-Cooper S Ford Focus ST Chevrolet.... well... we just won't go there.
  20. The rear quarters of the coupe are about as cramped as a Camaro.... why bother with a Sedan? Make it a quad-coupe or something.
  21. oh geeze, mine will never be that neat.
  22. Or, it can simply be that GM does not have a suitable Hybrid drive train for the XTS. The Volt's is too underpowered and not particularly adaptable use the 3.6 V6 as the ICE. A BAS-II system ala Buick LaCrosse does not do enough to be worth marketing. An all new system for the XTS does not not have enough volume to make a reasonable business case on its own. That, plus the low take rate of GM's Hybrid offerings, led to a decision to keep it simple and focus on the tradiational merits of a large luxury sedan -- isolation, comfort, room, refinement and, yes, amenities galore. What about the 2-mode?
