  1. You know what I miss more? That Lincoln Mark VIII
  2. you may be wrong on the assumption about me....
  3. You think I haven't sat in the chair?
  4. This is what you're asking for. Which is not too far off visually from this:
  5. it looks like a cobbled hodgepodge parts bin of the same ATS XTS and SRX bits and really i was hoping for something more designed, more driver oriented, and unique and different.. not just another variation of the same $h! they have going on in all the other cars. the CTS will be a flagship for now, I don't see originality here. and it's too gaugy compared to the very precise and austere German cars. If the CTS had the interior of a BMW, you'd call it boring and unimaginative. The 3-series interior better be precise... they've been building the same one for 25 years.
  6. That's the ATS/XTS wheel....
  7. Well it sounds like they're bringing their own epower.
  8. That's just it, I got great mileage in the eAssist Lacrosse, pushing 37mpg highway and 27mpg city in a bigger and heavier car. Where did that performance go?!
  9. You think BMW, Benz and Audi don't have parts bins?
  10. Germans, as much as I love them, do have an eclectic sense of style.
  11. So they got old Epsilon 1 out of the deal to make electric cars but not Epsilon 2 nor Theta. Good luck with that... ... but what of the Phoenix platform?
  12. You could part it out on ebay and make money. Lots of non-rotted chrome there. Glass good, door skins and fenders mostly good, hood good, trunk good, tail lights, grill, some interior bits.
  13. they got the crappy car part right, i can tell you those fornzas were not good...lol didn't some volvo's have in line 6's plus fwd? They still do. The S60 and S80 have up to 3.2 liter turbo inline 6es mounted transversely available.
  14. ^ this is also probably a very big reason we didn't get the Trax.
  15. I love the Olds because it is the epitome of 50's Space Age!!! styling with all of those globes, stars, and rocket engine tail lights....even being powered by a rocket. I love the Buick because it is Deco done 50's style. And the Cadillac because... well it's a Cadillac. Enable HTML is on the upper right after you've clicked More Reply Options but for youtube, you just need to post the youtube link and the board software will automatically embed it for you.
  16. Exhaust and transmission restrictions most likely.
  17. You've gotta stay out of the throttle on a V8 just the same. I didn't get 12mpg out of the CTS V coupe by driving it like grandma. "Give it gas" means just that, so don't complain when you need to fill up more often. The point of ecoboost is V8 power when you want it and V6 economy all other times. It fills that mission well.
  18. The MKS failure entirely the fault of the interior and bland styling. The ecoboost powertrain is one of the good parts.
  19. Why? I know that a twin turbocharged engine will have more HP and torque than a NA engine of the same size, but the 3.6L is a great V6 in its own right. What are the benefits of having a TTV6 that is a 3L over the NA 3.6L? Unless the engine ends up being a TTV6-3.6L..... The 3.6 still has to work for its lunch in the SRX. They should dial back the HP and up the low end torque on that installation of the engine.
  20. No, I'm letting Mud post his first.
