  1. Trees breath CO2 you toad!
  2. I want a diesel one....
  3. What do you need 5 outhouses for? Parties?
  4. I <3 Cumberland county MD.
  5. but I think somehow you knew that answer was coming from me....
  6. 10th grade there is senior year here.
  7. I took this idea from another forum I'm on. I'd like to compare and contrast the results.
  8. As much as I will never vote for Hillary, she does have a good idea in her plan to limit foreign investment in treasury bonds. Problem is, we'd have to have a sound fiscal policy to do it... and that's not something we've had for about..... 7.5 years.
  9. I didn't even know it was up for sale. I thought that one was the keeper and the rest for for sale.
  10. and kill their exports to us? I think not.
  11. Oh nooooosss!!@!!21!!!!1 And I was going to buy a 2010 Buick LaCrosse Olympic Celebration Edition!!! :( :( :( :( :(
  12. I'm sure it doesn't hurt that you own the most influential GM fan site on the web. :AH-HA_wink:
  13. ok.... so the Buick is right in line with even the top of the line competition in terms of sales.... My point is that while I think the 3.6 should be in there as the base engine..... 3800 doesn't seem to be hurting sales.
  14. It may seem silly.... but no one has tried it yet now have they? The transverse mounted I5s and I6es and H4s and H6s still have relatively low displacement limits.
  15. Didn't the Packard Clipper or something have them too?
  16. It's length. The biggest transverse mounted <I know, I know 68> Inline 4 runs about 2.6 litres. VW's VR6 is 2.8 litres but isn't very fuel efficient for an engine of that size. Especially considering teh suxors pushrod 3500s and 3800s can pull off similar mileage in larger cars with similar engine performance numbers. If you did a VR-4 it would have the width close to an I-4 but you could have a larger displacement than 2.6. I'm just trying to think of ways to have decent power when needed but good efficiency when gas prices start heading back towards $4.00 a gallon.
  17. Oh noooo11!!1!!! I was teh off by 800 units. There have been more than a few months where Lucerne outsold Avalon.... it is certainly not the dog you were trying to imply.
  18. I'm curious as to what "agricultural" sounds like. I noticed with the 3.6 in my CTS that it noticeably smoothed out as it ages. For the first 10,000 miles or so, you're right, it's still a bit 3800 sounding. Now that I'm around 42,000 it's smooth like butta...
  19. just trying to think outside of the box here..... what if it were something like VW's VR series engine?
  20. What, the top ranked vehicles are cars that GM canceled already?
  21. The lesson to be learned there is to not go to the dealer for things like that. Struts, brakes, radiators, alternators, even transmissions can all be serviced much cheaper elsewhere.
  22. The 3.6 appears to be nearly as bullet proof. Use that instead.
  23. I never said it looked better. But it does look more unique than this Mazda. Seriously... this thing is generic asian sedan. take the logo off and you have no idea who it was made by. At least with the Taurus, you'd be able to guess.
  24. outselling the Toyota Avalon, Mercury Montego/Sable, and occasionally beating the Chrysler 300?
