  1. Must be Nissan built.
  2. Make the Volt technology a trimline in existing vehicles. You can buy a Chevy Malibu... or a Chevy Malibu Volt You can buy a Buick LaCrosse... or a Buick LaCrosse Electra You can buy a Cadillac CTS... or a Cadillac CTS - E You can buy a GMC Yukon... or a GMC Yukon Electromotive You can buy a Saturn Aura... or a Saturn Aura Power-line Sorry, I couldn't come up with one for Pontiac..... but I did most of the heavy lifting here.
  3. Great Vid PCS. They really take it easy on that old Atlantic <the head engine>. She's probably dying to get out and run again... those were 70-90mph engines back in their day and here she is running at 10% throttle. That slantback switcher probably maxes out around 50 though. I've had a lifelong love of steam engines cultivated by growing up along the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad Edit: My Octobers and Novembers are usually filled with trips to the local steam lines. I visit the often and have even gotten to drive the engine in this video. I'm...friendly.... with one of the engineers not shown in the video.Second week of October I can usually be found at the East Broad Top Railroad
  4. Knowing what I already know about the infrastructure in Pennsylvania, I'd rather not know
  5. What if the Trailblazer were replaced with a Chevy version of the Acadia?
  6. While I don't agree with, I at least get your stance on FWD, Transverse engines, B-pillars and manual transmissions..... the one I don't get is your aversion to uni-body. There were a few uni-body cars that I'm sure would suit all the rest of your requirements quite nicely.... so I'm curious if your hatred of uni-body would be directed at them as well. I could totally see you pulling one of these out of a barn somewhere to use as a daily driver, yet they're all unibody.
  7. Delta would/should include Cobalt Sedan Cobalt coupe Cobalt wagon <to replace the HHR> Astra 3-door Astra 4-door Astra Twintop
  8. Grass clippings and yard waste anyone?
  9. I do want to point out that with the Passat, you can option it almost all the way to 40k. If Saturn tried that we'd be hearing things like "Who'd pay 40k for a Saturn?". then again.... who'd pay 40k for a Passat?
  10. Al Qeda is all over it.....
  11. Don't insult New Jersey like that....
  12. Myself, along with FlyBrian, OCN, Pontiac-Custom, and a few others are the smart asses of the site. Flybrian is king smart ass though.
  13. best move.... just walk away. edit: If you still have anger issues after that... take up boxing or paintball
  14. No you won't, you'll pay $15,000 more for it.
  15. I know... I was being a smart ass.
  16. Well, I assume it's not going to be carburated....
  17. My point is that the technology is out there. The Tesla is a great example of this also.
  18. The part where I post the correct link. Sorry... fixed now to the correct article.
  19. Isn't the TL already one of the largest in it's class?
  20. HP per litre is a superfluous argument. That Honda 2 liter needs to spin to 80,000rpm to make all 200horses. How would that go over in a Buick LaCross which is known for quietness? Not everyone wants to drive a weedwacker.
  21. Buick GNX. :-P also sold as the Chevy Monte Carlo, Pontiac Grand Prix, and Oldsmobile Cutlass
  22. 1. Volt? The mini cooper has a small V2 petrol engine to recharge the batteries. But still, even if you had just two wheels with electric motors, you'd have a car with 320 horsepower and amazingly high MPG. 2. a. I'd suggest a gearbox with a really tall overdrive with a 2.8 litre tuned to make as much of it's torque as possible in the low RPM range so it can loaf around 1700 rpm at 70mph in 6th gear. b. CTS base is 3800lbs c. Toyota Avalon
