  1. Wow BV. I missed this voting session, but honestly when I saw your sketch my heart jumped. It looks so sleek and awesome! Good Job on the comp. The other sketches look great too, very clean.
  2. I know it sounds wierd but I have. I believe its the same one though. I see it in West Chester OH just north of Cincinnati. Ill take a camera with me next time, but I swear on my own life. BTW, drugs are for losers lol.

  4. I find it ironic, that for now, i've seen more NG tundras on the road then GMT900s. Ive seen new new tundras around, and I saw a new avalon ~3months before I heard anything about a new one. lol I need to keep a camera in my car. And just two weeks ago I saw a NG element. In KY! wierd huh.
  5. I wanna' say I see Audi in that front end, but regardless, I like the car. I personally think it will do well in production.
  6. Im not all too fond of the aero kit, but I could hardly care less about that. It seems it will be a good contender in the performance end of things. Performance coupe?   8. I haven't contributed to this forum nor drawn in a long time, but i decided to whip out my paper and pencil today and draw a little something up. My inspiration for this one came from the 70's concept Aerovette. I kind of blended three cars together to get one with its unique identity. Namely, a 69 vette, the Aerovette, and a C6. I only spent a few hours working on it, so I may come back and revise it before deadline. The whole conceptual idea around this car is its MR setup, and semi-retro styling. I suck at interiors BTW...

I would agree with most of the stuff you've said about the car as my brothers first car was a 93 lsi 3spd, which got passed to my sister when he got a 93 5spd that now has 203000 miles on it. My sister concluded to wreck it twice, after which my dad fixed it. When she married, she bought a new car and sold the Geo for $900 to my bros friend. I still see it around often, but its has been wrecked again. lol Now ive got a 93 5spd as a DD and its a good car. Its got 172000 miles already but is in very good shape. One thing that i've never seen on any of the three we've owned is the door handle problem. All our handles were/are intact, inside and out. One thing though is the door locks seem to sink in the panel pretty far, but only on like half of them. It only makes them tough to get a hold of but its not really a problem. It really would be a great first car, as it is easy to drive. My bros 96 has a clutch with like 80000 miles on it and its been letting go for a while. I learned a standard tranny on it, even without a tach. I think that is a plus, as you learn to shift solely by feel. Anyway, about the tach, my 93 has one. It's got the 3 pod things still, Water temp and fuel are on the left side and speedo and tach in the middle and to the right. I can get a pic eventually too if I remember. I agree, for a 1.6, when mated to a 5spd, the engine is quite peppy. I like to drive it which is saying a good deal about it. Its fun to just red line it all over. lol Oh yeah and i tried today to see where 2nd gear ends and its somewhere around 60. I was going downhill so idk. I dont know if the Prizms came with the 1.8 or not, but I know the Corolla had that option. That would be an even better option. At heart, its still a Toyota.

  12. Ever heard of Lexus?? I agree.. Its a change for the sake of change. itll probably change again in a few years. You can tell the headlights draw from the first generation. That grill is just fugly.

  14. Cooling perhaps? You may have seen the pipe but did you happen see what was sitting over on that drivers side? :AH-HA_wink: All in all its a cool concept. The idea of selling a performance performance car is kinda odd but its been done. Just think Z06... I'd take one, but make it sleeper style.
  15. My 1990 Toyota Supra has more advanced options then my cousin's loaded 2000 Alero. I've never had any trouble with my features. They are fogs, dimmable gauges, rear defogger, auto climate, a/c, c/d tape deck, 6 speaker system, power locks, pwr windows (auto-down and modded to auto up), alarm, pass vanity, leather, 8way power seats w/ power lumbar controls, heated and power mirrors, electronically controlled suspension, progressive steering, tilt & telescope wheel, ect, lsd, abs, etc... So I dont think that your more options more troubles theory is completely viable.
  16. I've driven an IS350 and have driven it at WOT. It is a rush indeed. My only regret about it was that I couldnt do that in a lot while laying down some rubber. If there was an "VSC off" button, that would be immaculate. I remember saying to my brother who was riding along, "Lets go do some dounuts in that parking lot... (heh, thinkin about Lexus idealology) nevermind, the car wouldnt let me." Really the car is nice and the interior is refined looking with so many options. Its just a shame because all of that seems to be built for something special... but what.. well... hmmm... Point A to Point B driving it seems. The car, despite its highs, is held too far back by itself. IMHO, that is its only flaw.
  17. My unlces old 87 n/a supra had 210k miles on it, with the original clutch when sold. Thats pretty good for a toyota sports car eh? We all know that marketing cars can be a well oriented plot of talking up things. More over, we know that Toyota likes to do this and is pretty good at it. Thats all this is. People who trust them and believe what they say can believe it, and people who don't should look the other way. Btw: Early 90s toyota pickups... Those are great machines. Not sure about the new model reliability though.
  18. Im not to fond of the FJ styling, but some people may be. The BJ/FJ was Toyota old landcruiser back many years ago. It was a good vehicle, and is even to this day. The BJ was the Diesel iirc, and the FJ was the gas. They still sell for a lot. Go to ebay and type in toyota cruiser. Maybe people are buying them because of past namesake... idk. Ive seen a few on the roads. They dont look horrid or anything imho, but they dont look good.
