  1. As soon as this place has the budget of Top Gear, we'll find out. Also, I added the link I forgot to include earlier.
  2. Cheers or Jeers: 1,300 Mile 1985 Trabant Convertible Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1985-SACHSENRING-TRABANT-TRAMP-CONV-ONLY-1-337-ORIGINAL-MILES-TRADES-WELCOME-/390479442407?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item5aea6371e7
  3. The Year Is: 1940 The year is 1940 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike has just opened it's first section. You're going to be traveling on this section from now on and you want a car that can keep up with traffic and not be a rattle can at higher speeds. As one of the first drivers on this section of road, what would you drive? ************************************************* I'd drive a 1940 Oldsmobile convertible. No only does it have everything, it also has a Hydra-Matic transmission so I don't have to ride the clutch through all those toll booths. Boo-yah!
  4. Cheers or Jeers: 23 Mile 1989 Shelby Dodge Dakota Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item1c2bddf250
  5. Link: http://stcloud.craigslist.org/cto/3294477858.html ********************************* This thing is awesome. You know what's even more awesome? That topper. It's not some flimsy fiberglas topper or girly tonneau cover, it's quilted aluminum with diamond windows. Someone get me a bloodhound and a few pounds of beef jerky; this thing is begging to be taken on a road trip.

  7. The Year Is: 1991 The year is 1991. Your son has just turned 16 and the two of you have just finished a father son project in time for him to drive to school for the first time. Things are going well until you get a call from the principal that your son has been a tad irresponsible in the school parking lot with his new found freedom/ride. You decide that while he pays off the damages, a minivan would be more his speed. The only question is, which one? 1991 Toyota Previa 1991 Pontiac Trans Sport 1991 Plymouth Voyager 1991 Plymouth Colt Vista 1991 Oldsmobile Silhouette 1991 Mitsubishi Expo 1991 Mazda MPV 1991 GMC Safari 1991 Ford Aerostar 1991 Dodge Colt Vista 1991 Dodge Caravan 1991 Chrysler Town and Country 1991 Chevrolet Lumina APV 1991 Chevrolet Astro 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon **************************************************** Now see, there's a few ways this could play out. You could go for a one of the M-vans with AWD/locking diff and stick a lift kit on it, you could wait until the fall and get a 1992 U-van with a 3800 (3800+plastic body=Weee!) or you could get one of the Chrysler vans and stuff a 2.2 Turbo out of a Shelby Z in one.
  8. Many people know that the best way to keep the underside of you car from rusting is to keep wash the salt from it every once in a while. You don't just want to let it be wet when you're done though, you want to air it out so it can dry.
  9. From the late 1980's to the early 1990's, this vehicle was sold to the public by a major automaker in the US. After a series of problems that could not be resolved, almost all the vehicles were bought back by the automaker and crushed. Was the name of the vehicle, the automaker and the problem that lead to most of them being crushed?
  10. The Year Is: 1950 The year is 1950. It's time to expand you small delivery business and you need a vehicle. A pickup doesn't offer the protection from the elements that you like, a wagon's windows make you nervous about theft and you just sold your current car to Oldsmoboi, who is using it to keep those pesky kids off his lawn. You decide a sedan delivery or panel truck will haul your customers things around and give you some space on the side for advertising. The only question is, which one? 1950 Willys 1950 Pontiac 1950 Oldsmobile 1950 Mercury 1950 GMC 1950 Ford 1950 Fargo 1950 Dodge 1950 Chevrolet 150 1950 Chevrolet **************************************************** Supposedly Nash and Crosley also built sedan deliveries this year but I haven't been able to find any pictures for 1950. Anyone got any?
  11. Let's try that again:
  12. Cheers or Jeers: 1958 NAPCO GMC Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item1e722bef9e
  13. All right! All right! Here's a 3800 powered one for you then. Sheesh...
  14. The Year Is: 1997 The year is 1997. It's the end of winter and with that, the end of snow. Since your current vehicle seems to only do well there and no where else... ...You decide an American, sporty two door car would be a great way to get around until the snow flies again. The only questions is, which one? Left over 1996 Dodge Stealth 1997 Buick Riviera 1997 Buick Skylark Gran Sport 1997 Cadillac Eldorado ESC 1997 Chevrolet Camaro 30th Anniversary Edition 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 1997 Chevrolet Corvette 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 1997 Chrysler Sebring Coupe/Convertible 1997 Dodge Avenger 1997 Dodge Neon ACR 1997 Dodge Viper 1997 Ford Mustang 1997 Ford Probe 1997 Ford Thunderbird 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII 1997 Mercury Cougar XR7 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva SC 1997 Plymouth Neon ACR 1997 Plymouth Prowler 1997 Pontiac Firehawk 1997 Pontiac Grand Am GT 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Supercharged 1997 Pontiac Sunfire GT
  15. They forgot to fasten the running boards to the back of the cab and front of the bed, so when they put the salt spreader on...
  16. And risk this happening? I think not!
  17. The Year Is: 1989 The year is 1989. You're a snow plow contractor and you've been noticing an uptick in the number of people with smaller lots and driveways that your full sized pickup doesn't fit in so well. You hate to turn down good business, but your current solution is lacking in traction. You decide to try a midsized or smaller SUV for these smaller jobs and see how it works out. Besides, you still have your full sized truck for big jobs so it's not like this one is going to be clearing any airport runways or anything. But then again, that is a lot of square footage... 1989 Toyota 4Runner 1989 Suzuki Sidekick 1989 Range Rover 1989 Nissan Pathfinder 1989 Mitsubishi Montero 1989 Land Rover Discovery 1989 Jeep Wrangler 1989 Jeep Wagoneer 1989 Jeep Cherokee 1989 Izusu Trooper 1989 GMC Jimmy 1989 Geo Tracker 1989 Ford Bronco II 1989 Dodge Raider 1989 Chevrolet Blazer 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser
  18. It's the Jeep WideTrac concept built by Jeep and Crown Coach Corporation, maker of fire trucks and buses.
  19. They really are that big. Here's a comparison with an LS9
  20. Oldsmoboi got one, can anyone name the other?
  21. Who were the two American manufacturers behind this pickup concept?
  22. 1962 Vespa 400 Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1962-Vespa-400-fiat-500-isetta-micro-mini-car-/200812676658?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2ec15e4632
  23. Good Catch. I added the option.
  24. The Year Is: 1972 The year is 1972. You've been running hooch for a while now and you current car is in kind of tough shape after your latest escapade. The money has been good though, so you decided it's time to upgrade your ride. A full sized car won't fit in your shed and a small/pony car doesn't have the trunk space for merchandise. Police in your neck of the wood have been getting steadily more powerful cars over the past few years so a fast engine is a must. To this end, you decide a midsized two door with a big cube engine will get you where you need to go and leave the police in the dust. They only question is, which one? 1972 Pontiac GTO 1972 Plymouth Road Runner 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 1972 Mercury Montego Cyclone 1972 Ford Torino 1972 Ford Ranchero 1972 Dodge Charger 1972 Chevrolet El Camino SS 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 1972 Buick GS 1972 AMC Matador SST 1972 GMC Sprint
