  1. That's the right car, but one of the Z16s was not like the others.
  2. Moltar is on the right track. This one was designed to compete with the GTO.
  3. For 1965, Chevrolet built a sole example of this car for public consumption, what was it?
  4. The low pro's nowadays already let the driver feel every bump, dip and dead prostitute in the road, so ride couldn't be that much worse. I see WRX's with tall and skinny tires driving around here in the winter from time to time as well. Even if the tires were wide, a taller one would mean fewer revolution per mile and better mileage, at least in theory, plus the advantage of the car not looking like a pregnant rollerskate.

  6. Every time an automaker makes an economy car, they always give it short, fat tires; giving it a look that was pulled off much better by the BMW Isetta. Yet every time a you look at a car that's built for a mileage competition, you see tall, skinny tires. Given the lower rolling resistance, higher final gearing and better traction of tall and skinny tires, why don't more manufacturers use them?
  7. I remember doing a few crankshaft and cam position sensors under warranty, as well as some complaints about burning oil past the 100k mile mark, but that's about it.
  8. Talk to the programs director at your local jail and ask if they would be interested in any car magazines. Jails love them because they keep inmates quiet. Also, hit me up if you've got any truck related mags.

  11. The husband and wife were Craig and Lee Breedlove, can anyone guess the car?
  12. ...but it wouldn't be the first time I've entered and started a vehicle without the keys. Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/...=item3ccc79f783 CTIS! Wrangler MTRs! A UTILITY BED!!! All it needs is a slide-in camper and I could live out of it.
  13. The first thing I would do is go through the red Tahoe with a fine toothed comb to see what needs to be fixed right away and what looks like it's on it's way out. Then I would think about what I want long term. If I wanted a plow truck I could use year after year, I'd stick the plow on the red Tahoe and sell the green one for whatever it's worth. If I wanted an actual pickup for work and a Tahoe as a toy, I'd fix what's ailing the red Tahoe, sell it and use the funds either towards buying what I really wanted or finishing up another project.
  14. For $1,200 you're probably going to wind up with a single stage enamel paint job, which isn't going to be nearly as durable as a proper base coat/clear coat job. If you're on budget and don't want your car sprayed with glorified Rustoleum, I would strip the car yourself, have the body work and paint done by a pro, then reassemble and buff it out yourself. It'll be a load of work, but it'll save you money and you'll get a paint job that won't peal off within a few years.
  15. Before this car was available for public consumption, it had already set over 100 speed and endurance records. What was the car, and who was the husband/wife that made it happen?
  16. Why Oldsmobile's engine plant is better than whatever broken down shed of a plant your car's engine was built in.
  17. *************************************** The Silverado in the second pic gets style points, that Land Rover looks like it's about to tip over and that NYC truck looks like it's driving through sewage
  18. The bidding just passed $2,000. Camino, knock it off. You have enough projects.

  21. Steyr-Puch Pathfinder. Also known as Bug=Eye because of the US spec 7" headlights. It's only about the size of a side by side ATV.
  22. Right decade, but the manufacuturer was German. Also, that thing is awesome!
  23. No, I'm not talking about the Pontiac Pathfinder, those were Canada only.
  24. Everyone knows about the Nissan Pathfinder, but few people know of the other SUV sold in the US that was also known as Pathfinder. Who was the manufacturer of this vehicle?
