  1. The fist TSX was a very attractive car with great dynamics. The new TSX is ghastly. This isn't the first negative review of this car. Acura is losing it's way. This review mentions that weird steering as well: http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2009-acura-tsx-review/
  2. I just rimmed my La Femme? I just rimmed my Ranger? I just rimmed my Matador?
  3. Now that's funny.
  4. Not surprised at all especially from the leftist PBS.
  5. Fantastic!....thanks. Hot little number.
  6. Rimming?
  7. I heard of anal bleaching. My understanding is that some people get a dark coloration of the skin in that special area and this said coloring turns off some people. What is rimming?
  8. I think it would be so fun owning something like a drive-in. We need these simple pleasures in life. I hope they make a comeback.
  9. ok..what is a lithp?
  10. Man, when you have had grilled hamburgers you just don't want to settle for anything else. The best.
  11. Thanks for the great responses.... More and more I'm wanting to buy a single cab pickup, and a small expressive one would be perfect. I think there is a market for it, now more than ever. That Flex would look even better as a single cab. Single cab is quite retro when you think of it. Have always liked that Dodge concept. When Jeep brings back a pickup, I'd be very tempted.
  12. Oh man!...can anything be better than a burger with cheese and bacon?...thats the one I'll order, fries and a chocolate shake. Damn, I wasn't hungry till now. Ya, those hotdog shops have every topping you can imagine. I'll have to try this weekend and give a full report.
  13. Oh, believe me, I share the pain. Agree with all you said. I sometimes think I'm a GM fan based on long ago greatness.
  14. I forgot about Fatburger....it's here in the city. What is their claim to fame? And what's the best burger to order? Something I've noticed here that is gaining in popularity are kinda upscale hotdog shops...no drive thru and some serve beer as well.

I agree, beer is an aquired taste. I drink it on occasion, but its usually Irish cream ales, tend to like creamier, full tasting beers. I'm thirsty now. I find most commercial beers not very good. Bland, weak. Smaller independent brewers often have superior beers to the heavily marketed commercial types. It's like the sodas discussed, the smaller bottlers are better than the giganitic ones.
  16. No worries budster....I'm the same. I waited to see that first news and photo of the Camaro and hope against hope it would be a proper pillarless hardtop...nope, just as I thought....crappy, stupid, dumb stationary little window. I've been pissed about it ever since...can hardly look at a photo of the car. GM is in a habit of doing this, they cut corners or build a car to a price, trying to sell it at garage sale prices....wouldn't it be nice to sweat the details a bit and charge a bit more?!!! Make the car special?!!!!! They could have used the pillarless thing as a marketing thing, it would have added to the aura surrounding this car. A cryin shame. Don't even get me started Sylvester.

When you have a choice, go for some of the other bottlers other than the CocaCola/Pepsi stuff. Many have been around forever and are very good quality. Stewarts is an old one too.
  18. For you emotional types don't visit this website, there are photos of abandoned drive-ins. Makes me all sad. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=htt...:en-US%26sa%3DN
  19. yes, I forgot about that.....the ol'rearend viewing...ya that's fun too. It really gets you thinking of all the great pleasures that have been disappearing. There's something about that big screen against the darkening sky....love it.....bigger than life.
  20. Nothing better than this: Hardtop 2-door anything Warm summer's evening Windows down Date or spouse Drive-In Movie driving slowly pipes rumbling hotdogs/popcorn/pop Now that's livin.

Boyland is my favorite soda....been around since the 1800s...all natural. The Vanilla Creme Soda is fantastic. Stewart is another great soda. Orange soda like it was originally meant to be. A newer one and doesn't use sugar or artificial sweetner is Fizzy Lizzy....very enjoyable. Mostly at high end or health food stores. CocaCola and Pepsi etc should hide their faces in shame.
  22. A lost pleasure is the Drive-In movie. Are there any in your area? Do you go? Cars, dates and movies, what a great combination.
  23. I'm so hungry now. There is nothing like good fast food. I eat healthy most of the time, but sometimes you just need to have some good ol'fashioned all American good tasting fast food. Heck there is some protein there, tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, sounds like health food to me....and it's so frickin fast. I wish those drive-in type A&Ws would make a comeback...a great way to eat AND show off your car. What's jungle fever?
  24. Don't be hating me. I just posted it as a curious piece of Buick history. No one said it was a fire breathing Corvette. It got caught in a change of direction for Buick. Don't be hating me and Buick.
