  1. Very interesting Olds. Had never seen it. Thanks for the post.
  2. That '49 Cadillac convertible is simply outstanding. Beautiful. Such a great color.
  3. This car is one of the many reasons I love GM....no other company would have produced something like this. Nice ass:
  4. GM has to pull the plug on this division. Saturn is a failed experiment. It's time to put it out of its misery.
  5. Nothing can improve this horror of a car. Simply the most ugly Chrysler ever. It tells the story of whats wrong with Chrysler these days and why it won't survive.
  6. A collection of 1976 Cadillacs:
  7. Actually that '92 dash wasn't that bad in it's era. In fact was quite bold. In the flesh I liked it, just the wheel was a bit stark.
  8. The latest one was a hoax....not a real foot. Just heard it on the news.
  9. Honestly, one can't really offer up any suggestions here without the option of killing off brands....there is no way out. It's the reality of the marketplace, otherwise it's just wishful thinking. There is no point to Pontiac when Chevrolet can cover anything that Pontiac has to offer and more. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Pontiac and it's history, but it has to go. With so many foreign brands in North America, brands like Pontiac are doomed. It worked in another time. That time has come and gone. Pontiac and Saturn have to go, and will. Possibly Buick and GMC as well. GM could be very successful with just Chevrolet and Cadillac. For me I'd like to see this: Chevrolet/Chevrolet Trucks/Corvette - value, economy to high performance Buick - Premium Cadillac - Ultra Premium No car company today needs more than three divisions. Two may even be the ideal. Chevrolet & Buick in one dealership and Cadillac on it's own.
  10. Damn, that steering wheel could be at home in a Trabant. GM's dark days of interiors.
  11. Correct! '92 Buick Skylark
  12. What amazes me is that these companies are run by highly educated MBA types and yet some of the members here could make better decisions than they have on how to successfuly create and market a car or truck. Are vehicles just products like toothpaste?....maybe I've been wrong all along....I'm too emotional about cars. I need help.
  13. What car belongs to this dash?
  14. Wreath & crests have a long history in heraldry. I don't associate it with junk, I like the current Cadillac treatment alot. I also like the retro 'V'. They both look great. Hey maybe Cadillac should use the crest & 'V' for the V-Series and the wreath & crest for the regular Caddies.
  15. It will be a sad day when the Chrysler company goes. A long rich history and a part of North American culture. The rest of them, well, they won't be missed. Mercury died a very long time ago.
  16. The Malibu LTZ looks way beyond Chevrolet's position in the marketplace. Looks so good on the street....it grabs my attention constantly. I'm talking the top level LTZ only, with those nice spidery wheels, heck this car almost has an Audi cache about it. I see more and more new Malibus around town so obviously the public is getting it. If I was in the market for this sort of car, this is the car of choice for me. So impressed. A job well done, GM and Chevrolet. I like especially it's profile...that lower greenhouse makes it so elegant as it glides by.
  17. I think we are seeing the following in their last gasp for air and on their way out: Chrysler Dodge Hummer Mercury Saturn Only Jeep, I think will survive, will GM buy it, once Hummer is discontinued?
  18. 1954 Cadillac Pininfarina Cabriolet:

Did anyone here ever see it in the flesh?.....probably is quite striking. And where is it now?

Remember this Cadillac concept?...I see so many of it's elements in today's Cadillacs and yet I never warmed to this design. The 2000 Cadillac Imaj:
  21. Was there any significance to that 'V'?
  22. Always liked premium models in white. http://www.here.org.uk/2008/02/more-white-...-the-world.html
