Thanks for the info, well said. I understand the rationale, it's not like car companies haven't had joint ventures before, but this arrangement between two competitive companies vying for the top spot, seems almost unbelievable.

I forgot about the CTS coupe. Man, I hope it stays true to the concept. Fantastic stance....should have great appeal on the street.

It makes you wonder what is really going on. Are there things about this partnership we don't know? It just doesn't add up. Just what is this relationship between GM and Toyota? Could be a movie here.

Ok...that seems reasonable enough, but haven't they learned anything in the last twenty years? Still seems strange to me, from both vantage points, Toyota and GM.

I agree also, the TT Astra seems more fitting for Saturn.

Around these parts Toyota is the great satan and yet GM has this joint venture with them with the Matrix and Vibe. I have never understood it. Toyota is major competition and yet GM manufactures cars with them. Has GM ever explained that?

I wish the Sky had been badged a Chevy instead. Wasn't there some talk of a junior Corvette or Chevrolet based on the Sky/Solstice, awhile ago? Whatever happened to that idea? I must have missed the memo.

How are these two great looking sports cars doing in the marketplace these days? Anyone know the sales figures lately? They look great on the street and hope they stick around for awhile.

Blu, really sorry to hear of your misfortune. You can do all the right things in life and still crap happens. I had a car once that got hit by others 5 times. The body shop knew me by name. Only thing I can think was the color, maybe it wasn't visible enough. It was kind of a dark green blue grey dusky hue. The repairs eventually eclipsed the value of the car! Hope you get through it all ok...

More and more I'm seeing vehicles at auto shows that are in patina condiiton. Something wonderful about that.
