  1. Thanks guys! Number 2 was submitted to Fly via email a few minutes ago. I removed the date stamp. It's still 1600 x 1200.
  2. I already sent #1 to Fly but I'm having second thoughts. Please vote for which one you like best. Thanks in advance, I only have 1.5 hours to submit the final. 1. Profile (Bedford) 2. 3/4 (Concord) 3. Parking Garage (Haverhill)
  3. Email sent as of 8:01 pm Nov. 30, 2006. 1964 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday Hartdtop 4 door 394 Rocket V8 Massachusetts USA Bought with the help of an Oldsmobile collector from a lady in her 80s the same day I sold my 1968 Camaro hardtop. The lady's dad, who was born in 1896 traded in his 1954 Oldsmobile when he bought this car in September 1964. He used it as his only car until 1983 when he passed on. The car was not moved out of the garage for 23 years until just before I bought it in June of 2006. It had 24,800 miles on it and according to the sticker under the hood the car got an oil change & a new battery in 1977 when it had just over 24,000 miles. Even the paper tag from the factory that explains "year-round coolant" was still intact, attached to the radiator support. Everything works on the car, from the original AM radio to the opposing windshield wipers to the climate control. After some basic maintenance items, but without still having done the valve job, I drove it back and forth to work 48 miles round trip everyday for a few weeks and took it to almost every single car show within a 50 mile radius. Now safely tucked away in a garage attached to our barn for the winter, the Super 88 has just over 27,000 gentle miles.
  4. Australians are %@$#ing awsome!
  5. I'll get a photo in ASAP. Most likely by 8pm tonight.
  6. 1979 - 1987 Slovakia, (Czechoslovakia back then) 1987 - 1991 Boston, MA 1991 - 1997 Andover, MA 1997 - 2002 Haverhill, MA (Bradford, technically) 2002 - 2004 Lowell, MA 2004 - 2006 Tyngsboro, MA 2006 - ???? Half way between Harvard Mass & Haverhill Mass.
  7. WIWTL (when I win the lottery) I'll find a rotted out '49 Buick fastback & make it a hardtop, hatchback hot rod on a tube chassis with a I8 made by fusing two ecotech 2.4 motors together with a 40" long common crank & cam.
  8. Cool, more money for the ZETA spinoff projects.
  9. How did I miss this? Was there a SEMA thread I never saw?
  10. Voted "PRETTY GREAT BUT..." Enough of the "I wanna be just like an Altima or Camry" interiors, let's see some retro interiors... that's the stuff that looks world class to me. After the Camaro concept it's hard to be excited about this. Now THESE are awsome interiors, some more retro than others. Kind of silly but cool for an economy car in a '60s economy car kind of way.

Recent pic in front of a Gorgeous '96 Fleetwood Brougham that was for sale near my house this fall. Lobby of my Company's North-east HQ.

You look soooo much like my old high school friend Alex! He's obsessed with BMW M5s too. (he's a Deputy Sheriff in VA now)
  13. Kind of cool actually... it's a worn out concept (tandom 2 seater green car) The styling is actually pleasing compared to most of the other concepts.
  14. By far the coolest 3d concept this year!!! Wacky, I love it.
  15. Honestly, not half bad compared to the other stuff this year. Still it's pretty unoriginal, in concept or styling....
  16. This is better looking IMO.
  17. Pretty cool... for drawings.
  18. Are they serious?
  19. Wrong approach to a retro-1930s car, still it is cooler than 90% of the other stuff at the show...
  20. These were cool too... they were unveiled almost two decades ago and they existed outside of a CAD illustration.
  21. Looks like a Humpback Whale!
  22. Compared to this the xB is not that bad.
