  1. Okay... here's a hint: this car was featured on a famous "socialist" album cover.
  2. "One of These Days" by P.F. I remember listening to it as a kid in the late 80s and early 90s and thinking about how deep it was. Same era I was dreaming of 5.7TPi powered IROC-Z t-tops, GMC Typhoons & Grand Nationals. Still very much obsessed with late 60s Beatles, U2, Metallica, Depeche Mode, Rob Zombie, etc. etc....
  3. ...& money enough left over for a set of 22" Gucci rims made of platinum with diamond studded spokes with ruby & saphire accents and fabrige' egg spinners.
  4. A do-it-yourself 1:1 scale HOT ROD model car kit consisting of a 1978 Jaguar, dissmanteled with the individual pieces all in ziplock bags and labeled in cyrilic, and a brandy-new 572 crate motor mated to a M-22 trans. Boo-yeah!
  5. Any 1930s (45* OHV) V16 car.... esp. a dual cowl phaeton. If I was really greedy I'd ask for the one-of-one made, 1930 PininFarina bodied V16 boat tail roadster that I still know very little about. Who owns this car? WTF is the story?
  6. That is depressing.... why not get the stick & tell the wife to stop being a looser & learn to drive manual.
  7. Oh yeah.... I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune. Sux 4 sho.
  8. The very first TrailBlazer we got at Chevrolet of Lowell was sold about 2 hours after it rolled off the Peterbuilt's car carier. The second one, & one of only a dozen in the area, March 2001 was sold by me to my Manager's childhood buddy. It was a surprize for his wife, after 3 hours of paperwork & registration he asked me to drive it over to his house and give his wife her newest present. On the way over to the house he pulled over at a small town convenience and told me he'd grab a bottled water & he'd do the same for me. I was programing the OnStar while on the road and was about 90% done. My customer comes out of the store and hands me a bottle of water, I tell the OnStar lady to hold on for a minute so I can sefely pull back out onto the road. I take the foot off the brake and as my foot touches the gas I see a 1998 Eddie Bauer Explorer back up at about 20mph right into my passanger side front fender. The Lady gets out of her truck and asks me WTF I'm doing and who I came outof nowhere...? I tell her I was there the entire time she was in the store and call the cops. Fu*king unreal!
  9. I heard something about how caburators should be kept cool at all times. I hope this Invicta Flattop goes to a good home. I have nothing against pack-rats, I am one myself... I think this guy is ery cool and all but the cold hard truth is that this stuff is NOT going to fetch $1.5 million as presented right now, and half of those "restorabel cars" are 40% rusty parts and 60% just plain RUST. It's Vermont not Arizona.
  10. hmmm... interesting.
  11. I'd rather invest my money in a lottery ticket. That way if I win I'll buy an A-10 warthog and go ape$hit on the N.A. H.Q.s of Toyota & Honda. Hmmm, maybe a daisy cutter would be more effective!
  12. whaaaaat..... I gotta check it out again!
  13. Name three out of four of these motors and then tell us why this car is special and you've got a point. Not this car model, or make but this EXACT vehicle that you're staring at. It has quite a dark past... a little creepy actually.
  14. HINT: the "strange" one is air cooled and a HEMI.
  15. Yeah... I love threads like this. You should use this opportunity to make one of those "Phantoms" you have thought up. How about a Buick 1970 El-GSX, or how about some 455SD powered 1970 Pontiac El-GTO?
  16. http://www.thebishop.us/ That poor Bustleback...
  17. The 1990s was a great era for Mopar concept cars... the production cars not all that great for the most part, now we have the AWSOME 300C/Magnum/Charger but the Imperial concept and some other recent concepts are downright retarded, lame for "dream" cars.
  18. Well... not trying to argue with you Balthazar... 100 horsepower seems like way too little to push a car that fast even if it IS aerodynamic, but I was pretty shocked at how easily my 2.5 ton GVW '86 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham would do tripple digits with just a 140 horsepower. I guess those 2.28:1 gears were good for something other than fuel economy.
  19. 1929-1939s Cadillac, LaSalle, Pontiac or Buick. As orignal as possible, preferably some unique body style, dual cowl phaeton would be awsome but for $35K a bustle back sedan or something with suicide doors would be cool, coachbuilt would be awsome.
  20. The fact that many GM cars with excellent V8s get teens for fuel economy makes me not desire any small six cylinders or 4-bangers... plus my Datsun gets low 20s even when I drive it like it's stolen.

  22. The Ford looks kind of cheesy. WTF is up wit this new fixed front 1/4 window that hugs the A-pillar thing? The lamest one is the one on the ECHO uh... I mean Yaris. It's like 2"x5" & is in the way of the side mirror.
  23. Yeah... V12 Cadillacs are for the Chinese market, here in the states Cadillacs should be V16 only.
  24. He's a funny b@$tard & this particular episode is very satisfying! It is a mathematical fact that Toyotas are driven by the most egotistical &/or idiotic morons on the planet. Cold, hard fact. VWs and Honda drivers may be more agressive but Toyota driver's are the most clueless & exasperating, esp. Camrys!
