Go read some magazines from Y2K, the Trailblazer and envoy got PLENTY of accolades, in fact I sold many a Trailblazer & Trailblazer EXT when I was a Chevy salesman & later Envoys when I sold GMCs. You'd be surprised how many of my customers came in to buy a Tahoe or 'Burb and left in a EXT Trailblazer or sometimes even the short wheelbase TB/Envoy. I, or one LOVE the GMT-360s. As a young optimistic (and a bit naive) GM salesman they represented the future for me. A good BRIGHT future that included BOF trucks, modern spiritual successors to the venerable Chevy 250 I-6, in the form of the Atlas I-6 and RWD based architecture, heck even the GMT-360s styling was VERY appealing in the early 2000s, way to go GM for dropping the ball on a mid- cycle refresh.

My parent's town got a low magnitude one last sunday, I think it was a high 2 on the Richter scale. I guess some of the tectonic pates in the northeast are shifting.

The video is unimpressive, and the new dumbed down SrX can not even hold a candle to the Sigma based vehicle is replaces. This new tall, frumpy, poorly proportioned booger-shaped thing is not fit t wear the Cadillac badge. For the record: there's NOTHING wrong with the Escalade, many billionaires own them for their personal transportation vestibules, both in stretched and stock variants.

Tony, my ex's fat gray tiger... (who sadly passed of liver disease a month ago even though he was only 8 years old) Used to sit in the tub all the time, just chillax & stretch out. Baby, the fluffy all white one that adopted my Wife a few years back and is currently giving me a dirty look because I sit here typing on the computer instead of patting her and catering to her every whim. loves to jump in the bathtub, and even lick the water after we shower. She's always yelling at us to give her fresh water, even if it's only a few minutes since I refilled the dish, but somehow she will drink from the TUB, go figure. I love cats, they're the most intelligent of pets.

Video Games are more and more, not my thing... my PS2 has sat untouched for almost a year. Too much "virtual" in this world. My mother-in-law got us Wall-E for X-mass and watching that movie really makes you think if THAT is where we're headed! Plus I despise that damn game for having to load a million of those boxes (with that logo) onto UPS trucks this past few weeks. (my back is still recovering from X-mass peek)

Here's GM being innovative, designing and producing one of the most unique and interesting vehicles ever to come out of the USA in mass production, with unique styling, amazingly innovative, even though emulating the classic & mighty KdF Volkswagen, and what does Nader do? Destroys it with half-truths and bullcrap safety nazi propaganda. "Unsafe at any Speed" is a load of Camel-Turd. Read it and report back to me... By the time the Corvair went out of production in 1969, it was PROVEN that it was a n absolutely average car in safety, both crashes & fatalities were NO higher than an average mid-1960s production car here in the USA. It's funny how people accuse GM of being complacent, greedy and lazy in decades past, of perpetuating planned-obsolescence and refusing to be innovative... it's a typical belief of the "F*** the Big 3, let 'em crash & burn while we bail out banks" Sheeple, and yet, here in 1960, with already a near-monopoly in the Automotive marketplace GM was being more innovative and thinking outside the box more so than anyone else PERIOD. And they got crucified for it. The Corvair, and its amazingly fresh thinking was a step in the right direction and yet misinformed people still talk trash of it to this day. All the more reason why GM SHOULD build hardtops again, and keep BOF giant trucks in production, give the people what they WANT!!!

I'm thinking of three cars, all three by the same manufacturer... 1.) this one off... built for the president of the company was restyled instead of replaced due to a temp. halt in passenger car production. It had a famous "nickname", The B _ _ _ _ B _ _ _ _ _ 2.) Two decades after the B.B. was built as a one-off & several years after passenger car production resumed a car was built, also a one-off custom, it could be called a concept car/design study of sorts, that replaced the now dated twice styled B.B. This car has those RARE proportions that Balthazar finds irresistible, one could describe the car, in profile, as LONG hood, LONGER TRUNK. it also used alliteration in its two part name, The S _ _ _ _ _ _ S _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 3.) The third car was a 2-door hardtop, IMO sexy as can be, and it was built by Request as a concept car three years after the S.S. but also three years BEFORE a certain doomed Ford product which borrowed this concept's main unique styling feature. this one single styling feature alone would reveal the manufacturer to most any classic car enthusiast due to it's unique Art-deco shape. Enjoy. . . . .

Eh.... I wouldn't ever pay $4,000 for a pedestrian vehicle with almost 200k miles, although even w/ 197k the Deutche-Spec. Mercedes 500SEC was a bargain & a half at $1460. it cost twice as much as a Corvette in 1984, plus importation costs from Europe & the fact that it's super rare here in the USA, but this is just a run-of-the-mill 'Burb. (plus I'm tight with the little money I make) It needs a radio and a new front seats (buckets) due to very worn/ripped leather. Also, having sat for a while a few small issues have cropped up since I started driving it. I'll be doing one of the rear brake lines today.... despite the truck being VERY rust free for a 14 year old vehicle with high millage from New England. Keep Guessing. (and here's more photos) ---- This is me flying up Rt.495 the day after we got it... just after a pretty intense Blizzard, which I navigated in the RWD, traction-control-lacking Benz for almost 200 miles while everone else in their Acura MDXes & Lexus RXes was $hitting Twinkies as I power-slid around corers in euphoric counter-lock, snow rooster-tailing. ---- A shot of the filthy, snow/salt/sand covered underneath of the truck, quite solid for the year/mileage!

Fuselage Mopars are awesome! I prefer the 4-doors, esp. Imperials & Chryslers. And as far as Pre-war cars go... 1935-1938 are all awesome!!! The '71 Fury/Rd. Runner/GTX are some of the beefiest looking hardtop Mopars ever... love 'em to death, esp. the fascias and squared off wheel well openings, meantime the '41 Plymouth borrowed its front bumper from the Y-Job.

This is SO sad for me. I always LOVED the GMT-360s. I was a Chevrolet salesman when they were launched & I was so very excited at the prospect of the Atlas motors making it into more cars & trucks.... the 360s were light years ahead of the S-10 & most of their competition, they were poised for success. Yes.... so true. The pt was THE biggest phenom of the Automotive world a decade ago.... it was the 64.5 Mustang of our generation, way to go Mopar & Daimler for doing NOTHING except letting it grow old and giving it a very half-a$$ed "refresh" that made it UGGG-LEE.

Hmmm... Balthy makes an interesting point. This "new" E-class is very *yawn* except for the rear end where it's more just plain _FAIL. I hope to God Mercedes does not muck up the next gen. CLK, I plan on buying one of those decades from now as my "semi-modern" hardtop winter beater, at least MB, unlike GM "gets it" about fixed roof pillarless hardtops. Shame on GM for making the CTS a 2-door sedan.

Guess how much I paid....? . . . . . . . . It's a 1995 chevy 'Burb 1500 LT 4x4, on the floor transfer case lever, and MOST importantly, it has BARN doors. I'm 100% with XP on that, just as ALL Camaros and post 1949 Cadillacs should have hardtop greenhouses & NOT B-pillars w/ glued in fixed windows like some garbage-pile Japanese economy cars, real Chevy/GMC Trucks should have barn-doors, not lift-gates like a Honda Civic. Oh, the truck has 184,700 miles on it. Sooooo,guess how much I paid?

Best single package I've ever opened? a box the size of a small TV PACKED with Hot Wheels. For those that do not know I own about 6,000 "toy" cars, most of them being Hot Wheels, Matchbox & Majorette of the 1:64~th variety, but also including over 200 models in the 1:18th scale, several hundred in 1:24 and some odd-ball stuff like an unbuilt 1:12th scale '69 Camaro.
