  1. How could I forget the Ribwich!? Now without Lettuce! :P
  2. Yeah, what Japanese Ntnl. Holiday is it? Screw American Workers Day? <_<
  3. Yup... I was about to say... it's a dual and only the tail light is coming on with your Key Fob lock feature.
  4. YES, great point... I'd also anticipate a few psychos who disable theirs or jut drive an old Five-Oh Mustang and they have a field day stalking their pery... Big Brother Sucks!!! It's bad enough that Europeans are smitten wiht stupid speed radar cameras. The only thing I do agree with is red light cameras but then again the otehr day I sat at a damn intersection for like 7 minutes at 3am and the light would not turn green, I had enough I ran the red esp. since there were like 2 other cars on the road a tthe moment and both were behind ME waiting for the same light to turn. I better not get a dam,n ticket in the mail.

I agree Harley... I wasted away many an hour as a only child sketching a car that would bear my last name.... Years before the aftermarket made it possible I had the idea of reproducing 1969 Camaros.... in the ealry to late 90s peoepl laughed at my "dumd musclecar ideas" no one will pay $30,000 for a reengineered '69 Camaro wiht a LT1/LS1 or wahtever... now it seems like a select few will pay $427,000 for the Baldwin Motion '69 Camaro. Water over the damn.
  6. Yeah, I've got pretty much the same problem... some random car always follows me home like a puppy Dog. A few months ago I had the following in my driveway: - 1968 Chevy Camaro - 1969 Chevy Camaro (with a 454 out of a '70 Chevelle, sold it for my friend Sean) - 1984 Datsun Maxima - 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham - 1990 Mitsubishi Sigma (installing front struts for a friend) - 1993 Mazda 626 (was supposed to be a demolition derby car) - 1997 Cadillac STS Today, as I look out the window here's what I see: - 1968 Chevy Camaro - 1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille - 1983 Volvo 240 sedan (stripped out & crashed at the Demolition Derby) - 1984 Datsun Maxima - 1997 Cadillac STS I also had a 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme sitting in my yard for a while last month... more on that later.
  7. The only car thus far that has managed to threaten the McLaren F1's title as the coolest Exotic car of all time. It's been 12 years since the F1 was unleased and yet IMHO nothing so far has even coem close. This is the one right here though. Crazy!!!
  8. As much as GM si driving me nuts with these crappy products and even worse names: G6, DTS, Lucerne CSX I'm not ready to sell out to Chrysler for my Muscle car needs. I'm more likely to buy a Charger SRT if the '96 Impala SS or something like it is not resurected but screw buying a Challenger when a Camaro is just aroundthe corner.

Yet they LOVE this POS. <_< Look Familiar??? I guess the Saleen S7 did have one thing the McLaren didn't: 78 freekin "gills" and about 36 more inches of overall length. Way to make a super lightweight perforamance car.

It was such a radical car... IIRC each one of the aircraft rivets that held the chassis togeather cost like $70.00 or somethign sill ylike that... in the 80s!!! Absolutely on my list of used semi-affordable exotics I'd buy if I had money to burn.
  11. So the co*ksuckers have the nerve to mark it up $30,000 but can't even round down to $100,000. It's 100,035! I've said it before and I'll say it again, arogant , asshole dealers are a hughe part of the problem for GM. I freekin hate crap like this. $5,000 would be excessive but understandabe for the first model year but this is just sick. Whoever ownes that dealership has some bad Karma coming.
  12. notice it's an XT-Turbo! :P
  13. Why yes, the Ragtop Mini does seem to have a very "happy" and "festive" disposition about it. :P JamesB: I can appreciate what you're saying 100%. You have to damit thought as far as mnodern rehashes go BMW did make a valiant effort. Compared to a PT-Cruiser and New Beetle the Mini is very true to from. I HATE the New Beetle for the fact that it's H20 cooled, FWD and front engined and the engine is not even a boxer. <_< New Beelte my Arse! The new Mini is as true to a 1959 Austin Mini as is possible in todays world. Or at least damn close in todays over-regulated world.
  14. Ocnblu: You really should be an automotive writter, whenever I post something like this I just know your post will make the thread worthwhile. :) :CG_all:
  15. Ummmm.... yeah, *scratches head* that's prettty uhhh.... *backs away slowly*
  16. Many people, girls and guys are so damn smitten with that little stupid Pony emblem that they fail to realize that a 215 HP 4.6 liter Mustang is not even in the same league as a 5.7 liter 305 HP Camaro/Firebird. The mustang made great strides since 2002, but as far as the 1990s, they belonged to the F-body, sales be damned.
  17. This part of the world demos are nearly non existant. :(

I'm guilty, thought I never thought of Jap as a derogatory term. It's the abreviated form of Japanese. What's wrong with that? How is it any differetn from Mass (Massachusetts) FWD, RWD, IRS-LSD, Calif. or whatever? Honestly if I was typing a mile a minute and talking about some Japanese car I'd abreviate it to Jap. same as we say C.V./G.M. on this board in a Ford Mercury thread... everyone knows what we mean. As far as this Opel, while I hate most crossovers I like the stying on this car.
  19. ZZZZING! B)
  20. All I know is GM N.A. needs at least 3 RWD cars right now... and that;s not including the Camaro & or Monte Carlo.
  21. The Mini comes wiht a CVT now??? If you gat a Mini but you DON'T get a manual trans it probably means you have bought the wrong car.
  22. Wow... cool. Great to hear from you Lakefire. :) Sound like Aiken is licking his lips in anticipation of fianlly living in a house instead of an Apartment. Merry Christmas!
  23. I had my Blazer for just about a year... from Summer of 2003 to summer of 2004. Considersing I put like 24K miles on it and beat the ever living life out of that truck it's cool to think I MADE money on it. I still see it on the road every so often. I went by the kid's house about a month ago and sure enought it was still there. :)
  24. Iron helps us play! Sometimes if Marica is grilling me I use a classic Homer lilne as follows: M: "Promise you will not drive the Camaro this wekend if it Snows." 68: "I'm not going to lie to you Marge...." or there's always: Ha-ha, your Dad's not handy! (as Bart's bike falls appart)
