  1. The only prooblem I have with thie antiquidated box is the tail lights mounted lower than most reverse lamps. It looked cool on a '82 ElCamino and Malibu wagon but looks like ass on a $100,000 MB SUV.
  2. GM1: you nailed it. :) I was just about to say: Love the sexy Blonde but why is there a tacky riced out Dodge behind her? J/K Nos... I love Vipers too Bro, just like the Z06 more.
  3. Ocn: don't forget the driver's door was not there... that's also a structrual part of the car as well... a front end collision transfers energly through the doors as well as the B-pillars.
  4. Okay, you got me. Guilty. I was offended by all this Republicans this and taht B.S.
  5. I like Led Zeppelin but though it got kind of cheesy after a few months. I will say this much: targets their demographic prettty well age wise & in terms of attitude.
  6. He's not always consistant either... Firrst he says "portholes are tacky....none for the LaCrosse" Then he sees the Quadroporte at a carshow (Maserati) and he comes back to the design staff and says: "slap those portholes on the Lucerne!" So if history hold true he'll end up admiting the GTO was a bit too generic and the Camaro will end up as a good mix of new and retro. How about an Art&Science version of a '69 retro Camaro??? Kind of like Crispey's winning design from the January competition. The only thing I'd change about it would be to make it a hardtop with the 1st gen roofline/greenhouse. :) Amen! The GTO and Stang both celebrated 40th anniversarys in 2004 with new models the Camaro should be next.
  7. Ralph Nader's face! :)
  8. Sorry to hear that BV. :( Dude, I know to a Pontiac/Sports car fan like you a Lumina is unappealing but I think you're looking a gift horse in the mouth! Take the damn car,m it's a fine car for your first one (or second at this point) it's a V6 and has some balls... look at the bright side, the glass is not always half empty dude, a bench seat in H.S. is a good thing... all that easier to slip your hand up that lucky girls skirt or whatever. (read between the lines) :AH-HA_wink: Anyway it would allow you to save money and accomplish your eventual goal of owning a Fiero THAT much quicker. My Thanksgiving went well. We (me, Marica & little Sofia) hosted it at our house again. We made the stuffing, mashed potatoes and Bisquits while the inlaws made the turkey, corn dish, squash & deserts... (Mother in Law's Pecan Pie is soooo good) We got our first Snow of the year between like 2am and 7am... about 4 or 5" so that made the day a little interesting. I got to drive the Datsun in snow for the first time. Drove out to the Boston University Continuing Education Center parking lot and practiced Drifting around the light poles. Nothing like a RWD, manula trans car, empty parking lot and a half a foot of snow. :metal: Should have brought a friend wiht a camcorder. Hope everyone elses Thanksgiving was fun, filled with good people & delicious food.
  9. well, I'd rather get banged up in a car taht's intact than have the b-pillar cave in and smash my head so hard that my brains end up on the headliner. Here we go again wiht the "soft vs. hard" car design.
  10. Pointless... sort of But it srill put a smile on my face! I think we all know if the roles were reversed the Honda would NOT do tha kind of damage to thE Caprice!
  11. Why, oh why did this have to get political!? *sigh* For what it's worth I'm not Republican.... but I sure as heck am not a liberal or a democrat. I'm a libertarian and I think any true American past, present or future is at least partially Libertarian at heart. As far as extreeme Liberals? IMHOP these people's mentality can best be sumarised this way. (I'm quoting a good friend here) "A liberal is someone who fights for world peace but yet feels justified in taking away our freedoms and drilling holes in baby's brains" (refrence to 3rd trimester abortion, which Ted Kennedy & other Dems voted for) And as far as BUsh goes he's a poor excuse for a Republican. His whole damn administraion acts very Un-Republican like more often than not. Like it or not.
  12. WMJ: Wow, nice use of my Google find.... when I found that in a Google search for Gary Coleman I almost fell off my chair laughing. :P
  13. D6... you lost me.
  14. Except for the Corvette and Cobalt Chevy cars suck ass IMHO. A rwd Camaro & Monte Carlo and a REAL full size rwd chevy sedan are needed for Chevy to be a real contender. As it stands the Impala, Monte Carlo, Malibu, and of course Aveo leave me cold. Now as far as trucks go I'd never even consider buying anything other than a Chevy/GMC. This goes for all SUVs & pickups with the possible exclusion of the Equinox. I HATE cute-utes. Useless jacked up econoboxes. BTW: L.A. I'm with you 100% about Lotus. They're such an awsome brand... I love Lotus. Think how much publicity they could get by having rhe ecotec in the Elise instead of a freekin Corolla motor. <_<
  15. Dude, you just said Marital Aid!!!!! BTW: yes it looks like a glass dildo!
  16. I ahte shopping. HATE IT! except for shopping for a new/used car, car parts, 1:18th scale models... you get the point. BTW: Mustang: LOVE THE NEW SIG!!!!
  17. Honda, Acura, Civic & SiR Logos. :)
  18. here I'm thinkning it's going to be a bitchin Fiero and I get this....
  19. My Buddy Ross predicts taht Buick will bite the dust and GM will get bought out by Toyota. When he suggested that and I realized it's not completely unrealistic I felt sick to my stomach.
  20. wow... worse than i thought! :P
  21. Hmmmm... well GM interiors are weird those years. I really want to pick up a digital dash for the Datsun, it's uglier than the analog one but I love weird kitchy stuff like that. The car is an '84 so a digital dash would make it that much more ridicilously ubber-80s. Like sweatbands and ripped jeans. Hard to believe the original owner payed STICKER price for that car. ($12,000+) in 1984. I even have the original sticker and P&S form the Datsun/Saab/Puegeot dealer. I know it's Japanese and built like a tin can but I love that car. It's rare already and if I keep it on the road & out of the junkyard it will be pretty funny showing up at an Import carshow with it in like 2014. The guy wiht a '79 Countach gives me a dirty look and I'll be like: My car "talks" and it's only one of about 12 known to stil exist in the whole country... but there's a few thousdand Lamborghinis just like yours out there. :P
  22. cold phuz: Love that sig! :)
  23. I don't know WTF is going on but I have not gone a week in the past few months without having a really freeky and whacked out nightmare. Last night I found myslef in the elaborate Baroque Dinning room of a Serial Killer. He had one of those fancy James Bond style multi purpose canes and was telling me how I was going to meet a violent death. When he said something about hurting my family though I just snapped and somehow got in a mortal wound on him with a fancy knife that was carefully placed on the table in one of dozens of elaborate place settings. It seemed like there was a good three minutes of my dream (nightmare) where I ended up cutting his neck so badly with that fancy butter knife that I almost separated his head from his shoulders. I found myslef knelt down on the floor over his well dressed corpse, I was still shaking and now bloody like the Villain in a B-rated Horror flick.... and instantly woke up. At least in this dream I prevailed.
  24. Oh --- my --- God! I think between Ocblus's and Paolino's posts I just sharted myself. LOL
  25. Yup, this was a fun game to play as a kid durring Summer Vacation... throw togeather tabasco sauce, milk, lemonade, paprika, a teaspoon of salt and some seltzer water togeaher and dare a buddy to drink it. I'm so glad I've grown up and now act like a mature adult.
