#1 Crosley, Just read a book on this about 2 months ago.

    #2 Fireball 8

#3 I know you are thinking of something else but the  Twin six 702 V12 GMC was the largest road gas engine GM offered but it was 1960-65 I believe. Not sure what you are looking for. The 455 SD Pontiac did not arrive till June 73.

#4 As a percentage I would guess Olds from 5 HP in 1901 to 60 HP  in 1910. It could be a number of models back then as they all had nothing for power to start and grew at a fast rate. I picked Olds as this was a GM based web site.

#5 1958 Biscayne first year Last year Bel Air was 75 in the states but I have seen later ones sold in Canada. We used to see them here in Ohio once in a while in the  late 70's and early 80's

#6 1955 Turbine powered Thunderbird. Raised hood intake and large exhaust looks like a Turbine engine.

    • I need to know the name of that warranty company so I can short their stock.
    • Thank you!  Yeah, as much as I love the vehicle, I REALLY tried to avoid Land Rover because...of their well-known UNreliability.  Well, we have a 100,000-mile (unlimited years) warranty, so we should at least have that peace of mind. I know they're not supposed to be the most reliable, but I don't really hear of people getting stranded. It's usually "just" lights going off saying something needs fixed. Hopefully that is just the case.  Oh, oh I know! I REALLY tried pushing ANY other brand, because reliability was our G issue.  It absolutely rides better than the G. Almost anything rides better than a vehicle with two solid axels though, hahaha. My wife loved her G though. She was so used to it that she really didn't notice how shtty it rode. Anytime we'd drive something else she'd say that she liked it but she still liked her G and that she still thought that drove just fine.. I had to tell her that she was just conditioned to like to because it really drove like @ss.  Yes, 100,000 mile warranty with unlimited years. It actually seemed like a "bargain" at $4340. That's like one repair and I'm sure it'll be used plenty, unfortunately.  As much as I tried to get her into either an Aviator or SQ7, a little thing in the back of my head said it's okay because when those broke, it would be my fault, hahaha. Now when this breaks, I'll give her the ole "I told ya so".
    • Random thoughts: In looking at 270 to Win, nothing has changed since 4 years ago - the states are shaded the same way and the swing states are also the same - MI, WI, PA, GA, AZ, and NV.  This is and isn't about politics since I'm a huge geography and demographics buff. - - - I hate being in places that don't recycle.   - - - I was next to a late model Mazda 6 last night.  While I hate its dash and its big upright touch screen, I feel that this sedan nailed the exterior looks department at its time better than did the Camry, Altima, Accord ... and probably even the Malibu and the Fusion. - - - How do you deal with someone who texts in dribbles a good part of the day  ... on many days?  I might text someone I know once every week to 2 weeks.  And it has some critical mass to it.  Actually, if you have a lengthy phone conversation, then you don't need to communicate with a person for a long time, so it's more efficient.  Since this individual does not like the voice aspect of the phone, this is what I have to deal with.  I want to fix this, but I don't want to be rude. - - - I feel that, with each passing day and with all the villains around, I/(we) am/(are) living in a bad 007 movie.
    • Beautiful vehicles! I'm not sure that you've improved things on the reliability side, but at least the miles are a lot lower and it will ride nicer than the G? Opt for the extended warranty again.
    • Good morning ... Clearly I jest. Does this elation come from witnessing the eclipse?
