About time. The main thing I always disliked about the V Series cars in particular was all the bright chrome trim. Looks cheap and tacky. This is much better, though I'd still prefer gloss black.

I'm back at a GM dealer that keeps a decent amount of V's in stock, and I have to say, they are growing on me. I can't wait to get the chance to drive one.

Yeah, I kinda took break from forums and stuff for a while. Just other stuff going on.

I'm at Elco over here in Ballwin. I love it so far. It's a great store with awesome staff. I told myself I wouldn't go back to a GM store, but I think I made a really good decision.

The whole monochromatic look that BMW and MB / AMG does to their performance line is what I thought Cadillac should have come out the gate with from day 1. Not everyone loves a ton of chrome. Mostly the baby boomers but they are not the large buying segment they used to be.

I will admit that I love black chrome. that looks so classy on any auto. :metal:

I could see all chrome bits being changed over to Black Chrome which gives you some flash but understated.

Course for the Bright is better chrome lover, they can still go all out chrome!

    • Ever since Rush announced that they have found their new drummer, Anika Niles, and have announced that they will start touring againwith their new drummer, I found myself immersed in Rush songs.  And...I cannot even escape Rush even when I am not listening to them on my own as I watch hockey or even the World Series and in the background either the stadium's DJ or the arena's DJ or the TV channel itself, will play Tom Sawyer or Limelight.  Even Spirit of the Radio.  I'll listen to many of Rush's songs from the 70s and 80s on youtube.  But I have been playing Limelight more than the others.   I have to apologize to Rush fans everywhere. To Rush and Geddy Lee himself.   I was too immature to fully appreciate Geddy Lee's singing.  I always LOVED Rush's sound. Their music. Their instrument playing and mixing and all that they do is just extraordinary. 3 awesome talented musicians and their sound is just soooo powerful. Just 3 of them.   3.    I always respected that aspect but I never liked Geddy Lee's voice. I always thought he sounded awful. Until now... He does sing great. I just now...realized how great he is.  He has a certain tone to his voice that I never "got" and I mistakenly judged him for it.  I always knew that Rush's music would not be the same if not for Geddy's unique voice but I didnt like it and that made me not like Rush.  Again...until now.  I have turned the corner with Rush and now I could say that I am a fan.    Canuck Rock Rules!!!
    • Americans will be driving these vehicles soon enough, when they are impounded for military use when our dear leader invades both Canada and Mexico. I am under zero illusions that things are going to become sane somehow.  We are genuinely Nazi level in terms of our leadership.    We live in a post truth world.
