    • I’m sure most is garbage but I’m sure Michelin, Continental, and Maxxis all make a tire in that size.  I bought Continentals for my mountain bike a couple years ago and freakin love them. Some are made in China and some are made in Germany.

    • Part of me is just bone weary of human stupidity. Not you, others. China can make crap or excellent stuff, everything is built to a price point. But having to find 26 x 1 1/2 tires for an older bike my wife rides. Most of what is available is as you say cheap Chinese crap. sometimes I just want to buy something and have it work Patrick Henry may have just only begun fighting, Trump has only just begun destroying the American auto industry. Money talks, BS walks. Ottawa will indeed be a state capitol in the US at the rate we are going. Has become? Has always been.

    • Very interesting the U.S. Governments investment in Canadian mineral companies. Trump's Takeover Of Canadian Rare Earths Miners Raises Major Concerns Canadian companies seem happy to have the U.S. government buy up their stock; seems the auto industry will have access to North American rare earth minerals replacing China 100%. I can so see this happening as pissing off Canadians could easily make the government say NO to U.S. ownership of these companies. The Trump administration is investing in Canadian critical mineral companies. But Ottawa can stop it | CBC News
