Word for word on the Chevy Performance section under Camaro "Now" area;

"It official: Chevy Camaro -- show here as a preproduction vehicle -- is returning to the streets. . . .

Best of all, you'll be able to get this four-passenger, rear wheel drive performance coupe in 2009"

Chevrolet Performance Website

You need to click on "Then and Now", then click on "Now" to read about it.

Doesn't that in itself give clues to just how close this car is going to be to the actual we will be driving?

I was told a long time ago that any 'concept' Camaro would be very close to a production version.

The Camaro is a go according to the 1/2 owner of my dealership. It looks like it may be offered with 2 v-6`s and 2 V-8`s. The top line ZL1 will have the 505hp LS7 in it.

All speculation at this point. Would I like to see it, sure. But, I don't think there will be 2 V6s, but 2 V-8s are a possibility. But, this is just my opinion. I have zero inside info.
