2006 BMW 750Li

The whole car isn't as good as the old pre-2002 one...

I liked the Bangled but unrefreshed 7-Series. It much bolder and business-like than the refreshed 7.

BMW should not have listened to the critics. This was a great design from day one. I always liked it. People were so used to safe design for so long. This blew the dust off boring design.

they sure don't make them like they used to <_<

The past-gen 7 Series in no way screamed money. I never really was a fan until the current model.
Meh, the "Li" makes the 7 look like a limo. The only LWB luxury sedan that looks right is the Jag XJ, IMO.
They do all agruably look better but none match the "status" of a 7 Series.

Asking me, a Jag has inumerably more status than a Bimmer. BMW has only produced actual luxury cars here for about 20 years now.
I'd take the Jag over the BMW, I admit. IMO, the 7 Series has something the other cars don't. I don't know if it's the look or cachet or what...it's something.
as far as jags go, the XJ's are deffinitely beautiful cars...
