In addition to the previously documented unveiling of the 2008 Astra – Saturn's ION small car replacement – the company will also reportedly take the wraps off its next generation VUE Red Line model.

The '08 VUE Green Line hybrid is also expected to make an appearance.

2008 Astra

Pictures. We wants pictures, precious. Not happy until we gets more pictures!

haha, so informative, well ok... slightly

Thanks haypops for the heads-up... I haven't been over to Saturnfans.com in a while.

I will say that I'm surpirsed GM/Saturn is making this move. Usually the Chicago show is a Pontiac show, and Saturn has been saved for the New York show. Maybe they have it wrong, or maybe GM/Saturn have changed their minds. I do know that the '99 Grand Am GT models were shown at the '98 New York show, so maybe each year they'll change it up between the two brands.

Glad to hear that we'll be seeing these new models soon!

Since this is the first year that the Los Angeles Auto Show preceded the Detroit show by more than a couple of days, perhaps other events were "pulled forward"?

Good. Since the Astra will debut in Chicago and not New York, then I'll be able to see it next month.

Unfortuantely, I missed NAIAS 2007 in Detroit this year.

Can someone correct the spelling of "Astra" in the thread title? It's bugging me every time I read it...
