Mariner of the Seas

Recommended Posts

I was just on the western cruise on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Mariner of the Seas. This was my 2nd time on this ship, as well as my second cruise, and I had a blast, what with the amazing shows/performances, entertainment, appearence, crew, ect. Has anyone been on this ship before?

To give further details, it has a miniature golf course, basketball area, rock climbing wall, five-story theater, ice-skating rink, three-four pools, four+ hot tubs,........

I went to Labadee, Haiti (Royal Caribbean's private island). My excursions were the AquaPark and the Waverunner tour. Next was Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and I climbed the Dunns falls (you hold hand and climb this MASSIVE waterfall, while water gushes and whips at you. Third was Grand Cayman, where I took a Jeep Wrangler tour, and went crazy. My final destinaition, and my eprsonal favorite, was Cozumel, Mexico. Beautiful water, numerous shops. I swam with dolphins and snorkeled there.

Celebrating the 4th of July on the ship was cool, too with two seperate parties, and red-white-and blue streamers and baners in the Royal Promenade.

Have any of you had good expereices with this ship or Royal Caribbean?

I went on a Carnival trip that was a lot of fun. Royal Caribbean is better though, I hear. More upscale and they let you buy drinks in international waters even if you're under 21 as they should (Carnival doesn't). Your ship also sounds bigger, though the one I went on (Valor) had plenty to do.

Yeah, I talked to many other people who were on Carnival, and they also said Royal Caribbean was better. I'm interested in trying Carnival, though, for comparison.

As you know, I'm 3 years older than God. I did take a cruise once, what was that ship's name? Thinking, thinking, ahhh, I remember it was called the Titanic. It was the worst cruise I was ever on, I swore then, to never take another cruise as long as I live. :P

I've always wanted to go on a cruise....my best friend actually just went on one last month with his girlfriend for a week. He said he had a blast, they went swimming with with dolphins and para sailing etc. He showed me a ton of pics, the ship was huge and had like 10 different bars and clubs in it. I forget what cruise line it was.
