I'd like to point out that it's kind pointless to compair recalls without listing the number of models under the brand. Do you really think it's fair to compair Audi having 4 recalls to Ferarri having 4 recalls? Who here wants to bet me that 59 of Chevy's recalls are for trucks?!

Interesting read. Baseless though these stats may be, you can bet Chrysler will get some mileage out of it. I would, if I were they. This is the problem with stats in general: most of them are horsefeathers when taken out of context. If someone was to say "Your grandmother was a whore..." without finishing the rest of the quote ..."for chocolates." Well, you get the idea.

Best five: 4 FoMoCo brands, 3 DCX brand's, 2 GM brands, and 2 Toyota's. However, again, the severity of the recall's are not listed. But oh well, thank's for the list. I'm surprised that Scion hasn't had any recalls.

The Scion cars have all the kinks out of them because they've been sold in Japan and the tC is a version of a Toyota car in Europe. I forget the name, sorry.

Work the kinks out in a closed market, then release them in an open market and ride the wave of great press from having such a reliable car. The market is positioned to make it almost impossible for Toyota to fail.

No, its a smart thing to do. But it sucks that other companies have all these advantages over our companies just because they are not American companies. I would really like to see what GM could do if they had a level playing field. GM has the talent, but doesnt have the funds to utilize it all.
