wish i had the money

Recommended Posts

listing in the local classified ad for a 1986 el camino choo choo and a 1989 iroc camaro, first $5000 takes em both. interestingly enough its good to see the prices on cars coming back down. watching barrett jackson in pebble beach i saw several good cars go fo good money. 1970 ss 454 monte carlo in astro blue with a black vinyl top for $20K several good cruisers could be had for under 20 on the first days. in fact an old cutlass went for 8500 with only 3500 miles on it. black with a tan top. tan interior.

I just saw a white Choo Choo today with IROC wheels. Looked pretty clean and might be for sale.

Hot dang.

This is what gets me into trouble ... looking through CL, B-J, AutoTrader, etc. ... and finding cars I'd love to have, but don't have the $.....

This thread could also be called "Wish I had the space." I can't tell you how many times I've come across a nice old car only to not be able to pick it up because I am COMPLETELY maxed out at two vehicles. Can't wait till I can move away from the city and get a place that's got a little acreage (or even just a big driveway!).

make matters worse i got a friend who works with a guy, 77 camaro for sale. princley sum of 1 grand, runs has a 305. said he might take as little as 600 for it. its a good thing the 77 has those ooogly front bumpers, if it was a 78-81 i'd be on that deal.
