Even though we have the "view new posts" option in the menu, I've found it over the years to be unreliable sometimes, as it can and will randomly clear out the most recent posts, so nothing shows up (like just now).

What about if in addition to "view new posts" the site incorporated RSS, which is far more reliable?

Just a thought.

If you click "View new posts" and nothing comes up, just use the drop down and select "this week".

We're looking into some site upgrades in the near future, but after the past few days, lets get steady on our feet first.

RSS is quite process intensive from what i hear. if you have a reader open it basically asks the website about every second for an update. maybe something to look into if we have no problems for several months. but not something that sounds good for this website for a while.
