China's Zhongxing in talks with GM, FAW: source

NOOO NOOOO NOOOOOO!!!

As long as none of those things come to the US anyway.

I'm sure people would love to see the Chevy LUV back again (completely unchanged). Zhongxing has no money for product development and only a very small sales base for a largely underutilized facility. FAW has already bought a pickup/SUV manufacturer, which among other things builds fake Colorados (they only look like Colorados, really they're 20+ yr-old Isuzus). What would either company do? Strip out the tooling and build something else entirely.

This is what i'd like to see. Merge off all the weak and unmarketable brands. Hopefully Brilliance is one left over when the smoke clears, LOL
