Normally, I would have been asleep long before then, but last night, I was up, couldn't sleep. Click: EaRtHqUaKe! It felt like a freight train a' comin' through my house. 3.3, it was.:o

My parent's town got a low magnitude one last sunday,

I think it was a high 2 on the Richter scale. I guess

some of the tectonic pates in the northeast are shifting.

Double Yikes!

I've never felt one of those. We never seem to get anything dramatic like that here.

Hope you're Partridge Family collection is ok :).

Anything below a 3 is nearly unnoticeable, 68. A few weeks ago I was pulling an all-nighter getting a paper done when I just felt like I was cresting a hill on a little country road. 2.4 only about 2-3 miles away. No shaking, just a slight wave motion.

Really, I'm much more worried about a 3+ quake occurring outside of CA because most places have not built for those kinds of things. But the Appalachians didn't just appesr randomly, and the Atlantic ocean is getting wider each year (Pacific is shrinking).

I guess 10 inches of snow isnt such a big deal. Though we have gotten a lot of snow lately. Oh well I guess everyplace we could live has a downfall of one sort or another.

Never been in one....

*grins*

I have! One of the weirder sensations.... We were visiting friends in CA ... and all of us (mom, dad, sis and I) noticed it ... the friends we were visiting barely noticed it ... because they were used to feeling small earthquakes like that one was.....
