Buick and Martha Stewart Team Up

Featured Replies

What's Martha going to say: a Buick is a great investment if you sell early? or The new Lucerne is a real steal of a value in todays market. I can hear it now: the interior is well appointed and is as larger than my cell was! Now here is a car that you can make get away in with style. Tiger just stands aside and says "O" brother! I can see Buick getting a lot of air time with this but it will be on Leno and Letterman.
The marketing genius behind this should be fired!! Martha Stewart has run her course. Her Apprentice show was cancelled because of low ratings and her new daytime show is in the dumps also. Why would Buick team up with a felon is just crazy!!!!
Perhaps when Buick's ad agency signed with "The Apprentice," they didn't know that it wouldn't be quite the same sensation with Martha Stewart as it had been with Donald Trump. Since GM was thrilled with the response to the Pontiac Solstice after it was featured on "The Apprentice" with Trump, it seems reasonable that they chose the more conservative "Apprentice" variant and hoped for similar buzz. We'll see - it depends on whether either of the two teams of potential apprentices (apprenti? :P ) have a good idea.
