I was running a larger cam on stock cubes (346 - 5.7L LS1), and had my fill of the peak power game. Wanted to be able to drive the car more often, more area under the curve, etc...

For comparison, stock cubes, magic stick 4 camshaft, prc 215 heads, ls6 intake:
