A "Wikileaks" question

Ignoring the debate about this for a minute, who else finds it interesting to know just how many Muslim countries want the US to bomb Iran?

I wasn't surprised...I suspect many Middle Eastern countries, esp. those that have a lot of financial/business ties to the West, aren't too happy about the prospect of an armed and dangerous Iran...

On the other hand, I don't like the idea of secret diplomatic documents being stolen and released...that's unethical journalism. I wouldn't be surprised of Julian Assange ends up disapeared courtesy of the CIA.

not surprising if you're only looking at sunni v shiite "tensions"

besides that, the initiator would be looked at as a lamb to the slaughter...timing after that is everything. resources to "plucked" from other nations.

beware of motivations..... they may not be what you think

exactly. a lot of old sunni/shia tensions and fighting are a strong motivator there imho.

As I said... interesting.

As is the fact that Iran is claiming the cables to be fake, and that they have good relations with their neighbors.

I find it all a bit fascinating.
