Unusual memento from decades-old auto accident

Featured Replies

That is really weird, you would have thought the doctors would have xrayed and checked rather than just let it go.

I think he may have done light work all his life as, only when he lifted the heavy concrete bricks than he felt the pain and suffered which goes to show the human body is amazing and still has not been understood. I thought it amazing he lived like that, as it did not affect his daily life and only when he did heavy work it did cause pain to him which is interesting to see. I would have had a operation when it was first discovered as, he was lucky he did not suffer it for the time it was in his arm and healed the arm in accident than caused pain when was using force.

My favorite part of the article

Lampitt decided to have surgery. He initially wasn't sure what was in the arm. He wondered if perhaps a medical instrument had been left during the emergency room visit in 1963.

He had hip Surgery in 1963. Now I know objects can actually shift around inside a person... but I didn't think anyone was this stupid.
