Vehicle Ownership Metrics

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever put together metrics on the vehicles they've owned?  I have, in relations to the manufacturer, body style, colors, and new vs. used. Enjoy!

Manufacturer   2 Buick 13%; 1 Cadillac 6%; 3 Chevrolet 19%; 4 GMC 25%; 4 Pontiac 25%; 2 Saturn 13% -16 TOTAL 100%

-Nuttin' but GM vehicles have graced my driveways.  You can call me a Kool-Aid drinker but I've never been let down by my GM cars, trucks, and SUVs.

Body Styles   3 Coupe 19%; 7 Sedan 44%; 2 Pickup 13%; 2 SUV 13%; 1 CUV 6%; 1 Convertible 6% -16 TOTAL 100%

-Out of the 16 vehicles, 1 was my step-son's (sedan; '98 Buick Regal LS) and 4 have been my wife's (3 sedans - '00 Grand Prix GT, '04 Malibu LT, '08 Pontiac G6 V6; & 1 CUV - '03 Buick Rendezvous CX). That leaves me 11: 3 coupes ('78 Chevy Camaro LT, '92 Chevy Cavalier Z24, '95 Pontiac Trans Am), 3 sedans ('99 Pontiac Grand Am GT1, '07 Saturn Aura XE, '96 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham), 2 pickups ('01 GMC Sonoma SLS HighRider, '15 GMC Canyon SLT 4WD CC LB), 2 SUVs ('05 GMC Envoy SLT 4WD, '06 GMC Envoy SLT 4WD), and 1 convertible ('07 Saturn Sky).

Colors   5 Red 31%; 3 Black 19%; 3 Blue 19%; 2 White 13%; 2 Gray 13%; 1 Green 6% - 16 TOTAL 100%

-Out of the 11 vehicles that were mine, I had 4 red, 2 black, 2 blue, 1 white, 1 gray, and 1 green (wife has had 1 black, 1 blue, 1 gray, and 1 white; step-son had 1 red).

New vs. Used   10 New 63%; 6 Used 38% - 16 TOTAL 100%

-Lastly, used vehicles belonged to my step-son (1) and me (5); the wife has had 4 new vehicles and I've had 6.

By the way, I hate running metrics and dealing with numbers but enjoyed this exercise as it dealt with vehicles :smilewide:

Yes, but not quite like you have ... but that's AWESOME.  Kinda surprised I haven't, tho, since I LOVE numbers & seeing trends, percentages, etc.
