Glad to see that VW sales in SUV category is going up while cars sales are tanking. At least something is working for them after Dieselgate.

Do they still make the Passat?  What happened there?  They need the T-Roc here to replace the Beetle for a small product below the Tiguan.  VW basically has a 2 SUV lineup when Hyundai/Kia are up to 6-7.

I really agree with this...

Reminds me I have to check out the Alltrack before we commit to an Outback.

For sure, we could get by with the smaller car.  It just annoys me that Subarus up here go for MSRP.  CX5 is still in the running too if my SO warms up to the looks.  So we could end up with a CVT, DSG, or conventional automatic.  Sidetracked right now gutting/renovating main bathroom.

In Canada, they're planning on selling the SportTrack longer than here in the US, so you might be able get a deal on it.
