Another Recall for the Grand Cherokee

Another Recall for the Grand Cherokee

Posted Image

Chrysler is recalling 131,000 2000-2002 Jeep Grand Cherokees because of a defective engine fan. The blades on the cooling fan may fly off and injure anyone near. This is the second Grand Cherokee recall this week. On Monday, a recall for 111,600 2003-2004 GC's was issued because the front seats may catch fire.

Couple that with the call for an investigation into Grand Cherokees for sudden acceleration issues and it seems like this is a pretty bad week for Jeep and their Grand Cherokee buyers.

I can see the cartoon spoof rolling in my head. Imagine a CARS rendered Jeep suddenly spitting teeth out of his grille.

Seats catching fire...wow...I think there's way too much thought going toward 'what else' instead of 'what's good enough' when it comes to these extra conveniences we find in cars these days.
