Actually, I believe after the first year the oil pans were changed to accomodate 4 qts of oil, but I could be wrong. I'd stay away from an 86 2M4. For one, the Iron Duke really is a POS engine. unrefined, the car was notorious for leaks. Blech. I also don't think the base model is that much of a looker. The suspension on that fiero will also leave something to be desired. And having to already have to do the brakes--yuck. I think a fiero needing work already and an un-desirable basemodel is not worth 800 bucks. Maybe 500, but not 800. Hell, I had picked up a running Indy Fiero for $500 that needed some work.

The issue is that more embryos would be created for the pure sake of making a profit by selling them. And believe it or not, there are a number of clinics that will not destroy any embryos, and only create as many as they need for each case.

Am I the only one surprised that, after all the predictions of adding 100k sales and all that, the All New Camry has only sold 800 more units ytd than 2005. Where are all the articles about how its sales would skyrocket?

The Saab model of it looks terrible though. The sides are plain, and the grill is the worst. You can see where the bar is supposed to be, since the honey-comb grill just kinda gos blah there. Its a very disappointing effort, imo.

Just to elaborate a little bit on this. One week ago, Stockscouter ranked GM stock as a 5(pace same as market, normal-risk). Now they've raised it to a 6--outperform the market, low risk. Toyota, otoh, was an 8 last week, but has now been downgraded to a four. Good times for GM, it appears. Earnings Preview: General Motors Corp. NEW YORK (AP) - General Motors Corp. reports earnings for the fiscal second quarter on Wednesday. The following is a summary of key developments and analyst opinion related to the period. OVERVIEW: All three of the Detroit automakers posted declines in June auto sales, prompted by higher gas prices and tough comparisons with the start of last summer's heavy incentives. In addition, GM's ongoing restructuring programs is also expected to impact the Detroit-based automaker as it struggle to right-size its operations and deal with mounting pension and health care costs. GM, the world's largest automaker, saw its sales plunge 25.7 percent last month as it faced difficult comparisons to June 2005, which featured the kickoff of a sales incentive that allowed consumers to buy vehicles at employee prices. Company officials said high gas prices pushed truck sales down 37 percent in June, while car sales were down less than half a percent. GM also said in June that about 35,000 hourly workers agreed to retire early or accept a buyout offer as part of the automaker's plan to cut its 113,000-person U.S. hourly work force by 30,000 and close 12 plants by 2008. GM expects to take a $3.8 billion after-tax charge to pay for the buyouts and retirements. GM's cross-town rival, Ford Motor Co., is also in the midst of a restructuring program and said last week that it posted a second-quarter loss of $123 million.
