I bought her in Nvember with 34,000 miles on her. She is a Titanium with all the goodies except navigation. It still had the premium Sony sound system. Has the Pano sunroof, cool but unessesary if you ask me. It isn't fast by any means but the 2.0t keeps me entertained for the time being. I don't plan to stick much money into it as it isn't much of a toy but cars are one of my passions so there are always things to do. So far I've tinted the windows 20% all the way around, got rid of the hideous amber colored parking lights with white LEDs, also replaced the OEM fog light bulbs with white bulbs to match the HIDs. I recently changed the puddle lights(lights under the mirrors that light up when you lock/unlock the doors) to a blue LED just for the heck of it to see how that looked.
Bought new in Texas, traded in a '98 Ford Contour for it. It isn't flashy or exciting, but it was what I could afford, and I make it as enjoyable as I can. No real complaints other than maybe I should have gotten a different interior color, I'm not a fan of beige. In the cost spot I put the whole amount financed, not sure what the base price was, but I think the rate was like 2.9% or something like that. I'll see about getting a picture sometime later, maybe.
Wife's car, very basic (manual windows, locks, no cruise), I kind of hate it, but it's hers, she paid cash for it, and she loves it. Not sure how much she paid for it, and I do all the driving for the family, thus the way low miles. I'm making an assumption on the HP/Torque. When looking it up I see two sets of numbers listed for each, with one as standard one as optional. There isn't a different engine option, so I'm guessing that it is related to the transmission. Since hers has the auto which is optional I'm making an educated guess that that is the one that gets the numbers that show as "optional" for HP/torque. Again, will try to maybe add a picture later.
I no longer own her but I had some pictures and I know I'll talk about it so I might as well have her good looks accessible!
I bought her with only 43,000 miles on the clock for 12,500. Only thing done was SLP catted Xpipe and SLP Loudmouth 1 catback. I absolutely love how the 4.6 sounds.. m favorite sounding vehicle..possibly ever. I'm not a fan of the SLP but I didn't see it worth the money to change it all out for essentially the same performance.
I only had her for a year before I realized I can't drive it in the snow, at all. I felt terrible borrowing my parents vehicles even though they let me without hesitation. I sold it to be a grown up.. :( It was my second mustang. My first was a 2004 GT. I'll have to see if I can find some pictures of her.
I fell in love with the Taurus again when it debuted at NAIAS in 2008. It may have taken five years, but I was finally able to talk my dad into getting one in 2013. It's an SEL with package 201A, which means leather, sunroof and heated seats. Love the power this thing has.
We've owned it since March 1999. I grew to love it and was able to keep my dad from selling it. Been driving it since 2011 when I got my drivers license. Absolutely love the sound of the Vulcan even if it's not fast.
Bought in mid-January 2016. "Limited" trim level with Hemi, and 3.92:1 axle ratios. Optioned with towing pack (including coolers and Class IV receiver), plus skid plate pack. Dropped it off to have brand new tires fitted before we'd even gotten it home.
Had persistent overnight phantom battery drain for the first 6 weeks until we identified the problem as a damaged 6 stack CD player that was trying to load and eject jammed CDs all night PLUS a worn out ignition lock that allowed the key to be removed in the "Acc" position.
Had rear brakes totally rebuilt (everything from the axles outwards was replaced) in the first week of March.
Currently fitted with a 7000lb rated forged ball and hitch.
For the last 35 years, Ford has been offering medium duty commercial trucks, and the trucks have evolved through joint ventures with multiple suppliers and other truck makers. However, all of that is changing in 2016. The partnerships and joint ventures are being left behind. Unfortunately, Ford’s line of medium duty trucks has not been updated as often as its other lines have. Since 2003, this line has only received moderate tweaks here and there. For the first time in a decade, the 2016 Ford F650 features an all new layout. Among the many new exciting features the line has to offer are more ponies under the hood and an improved fuel economy. The brand new 2016 Ford F650 is 100% Ford – even down to its powertrain. Ford is focusing on promoting the 2106 Ford F650’s more operator friendly cab and a new comprehensive warranty that significantly boosts its position within the industry. The 2016 Ford F650 boasts a newly designed exterior that moves these trucks into the 21st century and mirrors some of the design elements found on the F250 through the F550 Super Duty trucks. Even the interior design of the 2016 F650 is reminiscent of these smaller trucks. This powerhouse now boasts Ford’s own V-8, 6.7 liter Power Stroke turbo diesel engine and an automatic six speed transmission. For those who need a truck with more “oomph”, the 2016 Ford F650 is also available with an alternative 6.8 liter, V-10 engine. An exciting new feature on the 2016 Ford F650’s engine is its on demand diesel particulate filter regeneration, which enables optimal performance whenever it is required. Although a formal announcement has not yet been made, the engine is expected to be made available with three different output degrees. Each output degree will be optimized for the economic situation needs and energy needs of the specific application. Under the hood, the F650 has been equipped with a new suspension and framework, accompanied by a newly redesigned anti-roll bar. A tighter turning radius significantly improves the truck’s maneuverability when compared to previous generations. For an enhanced trip, longer fallen leave springs have been added. The truck has been equipped with reflector style, dual beam halogen headlamps that feature a chrome surround. Optional PowerScope trailer tow mirrors are also available with standard spotter mirrors in addition to Ford exclusive folding and power telescoping features. All 2016 Ford F650 trucks will be offered with two wheel drive only, but will be available in regular cab, super cab, and crew cab options. There are also multiple upgraded features available as add ons, so the truck can be customized to suit each buyer’s unique needs. The 2016 Ford F650 truck will be made available for purchase in January of 2016, and interest in Ford’s newest workhorse is high. The 2016 F650 is now available for pre-order. If you want to take your business to the next level, it is time to find out for yourself exactly what this truck has to offer.
