  1. There are a bunch of Trump loving LGBTQ folks. In this video Becky is actually sane and rational though conservative. Quite unlike certain former folks. The problem is that a bunch of Canadians love Trump and you are going to have your own right wing evolution. I stand by every anti American comment I have made here in the last 18 years. Every single effing one of them.

  2. I'm pulling back hard on spending. My vehicles are weeks (300c) or months (Avalanche) from being paid off. The LLC that owns C&G got some new contracts recently and I'm going to be writing off every last thing I can. Both of us may be putting a lot of expensable miles on soon and we might find a cheap EV lease to take advantage of the situation and keep the miles off the ICE vehicles.

  4. This was the ride across the pond. I took a funkier combo of flights on a miles redemption to get onto this A340-600, actually the longest commercial aircraft in existence for at least a decade. I figured as much just looking at it. Here it is pulling up to the gate in Boston. Only took about 6:30 across, which went fast. It's obviously a stretched A340-300 with bigger engines. This thing barreled down the runway and it was "wheels up" in no time at all. I like the 2-4-2 seating in economy. There is not much of an economy cabin in terms of length. A lot of the interior space was surprisingly first and business class. With the fog and clouds, the view over Boston, which could have been spectacular, was nonexistent. I love quadjets. They look so regal, for lack of a better word. I miss them as there are fewer of them.

  5. Pretty Bad when you see Fox News showing a scrolling lineup of pretty much everything that will have a jump in price as the pinch is on to destroy America.

  6. Spring still a while off...got these two out for their weekly startup on Saturday. Once the roads are salt free I'll drive the Cadillac some. Supposed to get to 50 today, hopefully most of the snow and ice will melt.

  7. Albertans mostly. Some sprinkled in Quebec and Ontario but not that much really. The Prairie provinces because they are still pissed that Pierre E. Trudeau, father of Justin, allegedly alienated the "West" by prevented further Albertan oil drilling and selling of said oil to other parts in Canada and in the world. Father Trudeau did say to them to diversify in their products to produce and sell... Irony is that Western porvinces hate father Trudeau because he alienated them while saying he favored Ontario and Quebec while Quebecois also hated father Trudeau because of same sentiment but Quebecois say that father Trudeau sold their independance to Englis Canada mainly from the west... In my honest understanding he could not been able to do both as its contradictory. He either was a traitor to Western Canada or he was a traitor to Eastern Canada. In reality though, he done good when both the East and West hated him. He done his job as there was really NO favoritism. He done his job righting many wrongs that were pulling Canada in the wrong directions from ALL provinces.

  8. https://www.canada.ca/en/department-finance/news/2025/02/canada-announces-155b-tariff-package-in-response-to-unjustified-us-tariffs.html It turns out that, the automotive industry will not be spared by Canada. EVs included. Minister LeBlanc also announced that the government intends to impose tariffs on an additional list of imported U.S. goods worth $125 billion. A full list of these goods will be made available for a 21-day public comment period prior to implementation, and will include products such as passenger vehicles and trucks, including electric vehicles, steel and aluminum products, certain fruits and vegetables, aerospace products, beef, pork, dairy, trucks and buses, recreational vehicles, and recreational boats.

  9. Where is OCNBLU with my 52 Chevy and all EVs are the death of humanity? The stupid runs deep. Methinks they are trying to crash the economy to buy up crap cheaply. Ford is still bleeding cash in terms of EV's. Tarrifs will put the whammy on all sorts of stuff. At this point I am actively hoping that America falls on its ass.

  10. Wont be good for GM or Ford. Not only did Trump put a tariff on products that COME from Canada or Mexico which means final assemblied products FROM Canada and Mexico which means the Ford F-150 and the Silverado are going to be tariffed 25% and many other models such as Equinoxes, Blazers and Mavericks and Broncos which are bread and butter vehicles BUT, Trump ALSO put a 25% tariff on Canadian steel and aluminium which is bought by Ford and GM to actually PRODUCE said vehicles. The auto industry is a MAJOR back bone industry for the US. If on Tuesday, American tariffs will actually take effect, Ford and GM production will most definitely close down in the coming weeks if not days. And I havent even discussed the retalitory tariffs that Canada will impose on American goods. To start, Canada hasnt discussed about the automotive industry as we know that is suicidal for us as well. But it WILL lead to that and we WILL impose tariffs on US branded automobiles. Irony is that Michigan JUST became a red state... And why I say that: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (and yes he is still our PM until a replacement has been found which the Liberal party has until March to find a replacement until election time in October) had over a week to disuss with the Provincial Premiers on how to deal with these tariffs and we are SURGICALLY putting MOST of our tariffs on RED STATES. The products that these Red States sell to Canada. We will increase our percentages accordingly to whatb Trump will counter, but we will also expand our products. Keeping this trade war talk in terms of the automotive industry as it pertains to GM and Ford...imagine if Trump further increases tariffs on our steel and aluminium? And imagine when we ourselves INCREASE our prices for steel and aluminium further? Imagine also when we will tariff automobiles coming from the Michigan area because Red State... Honda Civics and HRVs are already best sellers in Canada, but these are vehicles being built IN Canada. Ram trucks are part of Stellantis, headquartered in Michigan for Chryco but Stellantis is really not American. Therefore fullsized pick-up needs can and WILL go to Stellantis. So many scenarios to where Ford and GM really lose out. I have said this before and I will say it again, this trade war will NOT end good for the US. It WILL be WORSE for Americans than it will be for Canadians. In the short term, no citizen will win. In the long term, this will be very very bad for Americans. The BIGGER picture of the American automotive picture is that, Americans (and Canadians) will pay HIGHER price tags for their cars more than ANYWHERE else in the world and in history. Most vehicles that are sold in the US are built in Mexico. Some in Canada and some in China. Trump put a 25% tariff on those. Cars that are NOT built in Mexico or Canada to be sold in the US and in Canada are being built in RED STATES. Canada will be putting a tariff on those. Its notm only Michigan that cars are being built. Georgia and Alabama also have car plants that build cars for Canadians to buy. We could live without Mercedes Benzes but we do like our Hyundai/KIA EVs. Those are built in Georgia... Maga people and Trump have not thought this thing through. Maga people think that Trump is a saviour. Maga people think that Canada (and Mexico) amounts to nothing. The irony is that that those two things I said are the complete OPPPOSITE of what reality is. Trump is not their saviour. He is the destructor of the American Empire. And its them that really amount to nothing. Insignificant in this world.

  14. We'll seems stupid is raging more as Tennessee is wanting to push through an amendment that would allow Trump a 3rd term. Tennessee congressman proposes resolution creating path for a third Trump term I honestly see revolution in our future as Dictator Heir Trump attempts to take over the country with his stupidity. I totally agree with the Hedge funds that are saying the U.S. stock market is about to crash in a way that people have not seen and we could see a depression that will destroy the poor and low income. Scary times for sure. What is mind boggling is how much is produced and why NAFTA was a good deal for the U.S., Canada, and Mexico as it allowed production on high-cost items to help control costs. Get ready for anything in an Aluminum can / container to jump big time in cost. BBQ that use Stainless steel produced in Canada will cost much more. Tesla Cyber trucks will see a huge jump due to the stainless steel body if anyone really wants to buy such garbage. Layoffs are coming.
