It would be quite foolish to do a Canada/US fight with hockey. 1. Although there are more American teams in the NHL, always has been, the American population is greater than Canadian. 10 times more greater, the NHL STILL is predominantly Canadian born players. Approx 42% in 2025 versus the approx 30% of American players. 2. The best of the NHL players ARE Canadian.
